He stopped talking, stopped chking and was breathing slowly, faintly.
"What happened?"- Robert asked him. The man on the ground said nothing. Robert wanted to examine his injuries, but the man lifted his hand and shaked his head.
"Wait."- Alex managed. A voice in his head started "Agression inhibitor and adrenaline stimulant upgrades isolated and deactivated. Bleeding in lower left abdomen stopped. Liver organ isolated and deactivated, proceeding with nano-probe organ simulation. Head injury resulting in minor concussion, repairing damaged cells. Replenishing oxyde cell saturation. Activating muscle nano-stimulants."
Alex drew a deep breath and stood up. His breathing was normal, and he looked around.
"What!? How'd you get up!?"- Robert screamed.
"Way too long a story to tell you right now. I was sent here by an organisation do find out what happened here. I got in a conflict with these robot-like things and I couldn't escape."- Alex responded -"Some of them move unbelievably fast." He went to the spot where the gun exploded -"So there goes my plasma gun."- he looked around to see the wreckage of the robot -"At least it did some good."
"Plasma gun? How DID you get up?"- Robert asked again, this time more inquisitively.
"Later. There should be a broadcasting structure somewhere near. A TV station. Where is it?"
Robert pointed to a sky scraper behind him, a puzzled look on his face -"What do you want to do with a TV station?"
"Watch the news, what else?"- Alex responded quickly.

OOC: This things going on hold. Sorry dude, but you can't just do with my character what you please. Only me and /)K can actually move him around, have him speak etc etc etc. I'd really appreciate it if you didn't take control of my character into your own hands.

"Your plasma gun didn't do crap" a voice spoke up. "It was mine, the one I haded to Robert that went off like that, and trust me, the last place you want to go is high ground..." Robert and alex turned around and saw the man from before dressed in grey armor. Alex immediatley fell to his knees and said "The Gatekeeper! It is an honor..."

"Get up, mercenary..." He ordered and alex complied. "Well now that my repulsor is gone and your plasma rifle evaporated, we're going to have to re arm you two... GAAATES!"

Two large porals opened an heavily-loaded gun wracks flew out. The gatekeeper pulled out a modulating nozzle railgun which could modulate from a sniper rifle to a bazooka and tossed it to Robert. "I wouldn't normally trust a Civ with something with that big a kick, but I figured we're in over our heads here. You you'll be needing something with a little bit more firing options..." He said tossing a Gryroscopic modulating weapon to Alex, Alex cluched it in one hand and it began to rotate, he waved it around his body and then held it in place, it stopped spinning quickly and the barrel pointed with a laser guide. "Just remember, Don't order it to go Halcyon Red or you'll kill us all..."

The gatekeeper then reached in between two guns and pulled out a red eye peice, he took his current eyepeice off, at first it looked as if his right eye socket was empty, but Robert caught a glimse of a glowing green pupil in a sea of black which was quickly covered up by the eyepeice. "I'm taking the last straw in Shwansenshrei mode..."

Alex ghasped but quickly covered his mouth...

Robert was a litte scared by this... Words he'd never heard before, but obviously had some effect to them in the way The gatekeeper spoke, it was as if he'd be using the most vile weapon known to man... The last straw? What was that supposed to mean?

"To the tower... You're giving the orders, oh and another thing, watch your back..."

Sorry for that. Won't do it again. I was planning on going somewhere for a few days and I wanted to write as much as possible. I'm not going anywhere. Do you want me to change the post or something, 'cause I didn't want to insult or belittle anyone.

As they crossed the street, walking amongst urban buildings, which felt like rocks and natural surroundings due to the stillness of it all, The survivor and the two investigaors neared the large satelite uplink tower, which broadcast news all across the globe. It, like a menacing zigurat, stood out amongst the other high rise buildings, at least 200 stories tall, it was a very menacing sight.

"They're atracted to technology" the gatekeeper spoke up "They want to find a way to set traps for us so they can leave this rock, don't forget that... If we can do anything though, we're gonna' have to warn anyone else who tries to get here..."

The gatekeeper looked at Alex with an odd expression. Alex only nodded. There was obviously something they knew which they were witholding from robert, but what was it?

Just then a building on one of the floors near the top of the large building broke and glass flew through the air, the gatekeeper stopped robert before he could aim his gun... "It's a survivor..."

"HELLO! ARE YOU PEOPLE? OH THANK GOD! I THOUGHT I WAS A GONNER UP HERE!!" The man shouted, his voice echoed about...

"Uh oh... That's not good" Alex spoke as he looked around.

"The sound is deffinetly going to atract them..." Robert agreed... And then suddenly all of the other buildings of the sky scrapper blew out at once and like a plague of locusts machines of all maners and types began to flood from the building and while some leapt through the air to try and land on top of them, others crawled to the ground and began to stampede...

jimmy is good at IT and works from home. he was at his home when the catastrophe happened and he is a bit shaken up. He is of average build and he is 6foot 1. He likes reading and on him he has a book which he was in the process of reading and his laptop which has gona all weird and isnt functioning properly. He carries a hand gun which has a laser site which actually fires a laser beam when switched on. It uses most any bullet that Jim can get his hands on!

Alex looked around to try and evaluate how much seconds they had untill the robots are upon them. He readied the new GyroMod and his AAA rifles and started shooting them akimbo at the robots.
"RUN TO THE BUILDING!"- he screamed as he jumped around to get cover. After realising his weapons did only superficial damage to his targets, he shouted to the gatekeeper -"You said 'modes of fire'! What are they!?"
