Thalali nodded at Storm, he wouldn't let anything happen to his only friend in the vampire world. After acknowledging Storm he turned around and fallowed Gwynne into the mansion.

She continued to walk after the mutated creature and Bakilas, and overheard Thalali and Storm's whispered conversation. Gwynne stiffened slightly in an attempt not to hunch slightly in misery. The girl was reminded of how very out of place she was. She persisted to walk at a stiff gait with her face unreadable, her eyes appearing faintly red-rimmed to the close observer.

the thing leading you skitters through the door and almost seems to walk up the left wall and squeeze through a small hole in the otherwise well tended ceiling. You don't have time to dwell on it's disappearance though, as a man dressed as a butler stands in the middle of the room, his uniform has been specifically tailored for his "new" form, he is well over 8 feet tall, hugely muscular, his deathly pale skin laced with scars and stitchmarks, many of which appear infected, his eyes seem watery and slightly loose in the sockets. With a voice that can only be compared to a rolling thunder, he intones "The Master will be up shortly, please make yourselves comfortable."

There are several overstuffed leather chairsaround which smell odd to your preternaturally heightened senses of smell, and a large couch opposite a fireplace that is covered by a dustcloth. There appears to be very little in the way of electronics inside the house, the light comes from lamps are all oil lanterns that appear to be very antique. the walls are bare except for a few picture frames with what looks like family portraits, they are of a series of men, the oldest picture appears to be of a man roughly forty-five short, bald and with a pronounced beer-belly.

But as the portraits continue around the room, they are younger men that are noticable more fit and taller, until as your gaze wanders past what seems to be the newest one you nearly jump as you see an exact replica of the last picture, his clothes are dusty and are about 100 years out of fashion, but they appear well tailored and well kept, despite the dust. The man himself looks truly beautiful, like a china doll, his features immaculetly carved his ivory skin, flawless. His fingernails are filed down to clawlike points, but his hands, like the rest of him are perfect, he is tall and lean, without being gaunt and his pale blue eyes quickly search out every detail of the room, and then fix, on you, a slight frown appears on his face, his finely chiselled mouth turns up in a grin finally, and it sends a cold shiver down your spines, "Greetings," he states in a voice with just a trace of an accent, it sounds vaguely romanian, but is almost non-existant so you can't be sure. "Orrick Has sent you, yes." It was a statement not a question, "How may I help you. As he talks his eyes intently study each of you in turn, before he turns to Bakilas, and says "You have lovely eyes, particularly the left one."

For Mistral

The monster had left moments ago but already it felt like an eternity, there were faint sounds from above you, coming down through the ceiling. Your former savior seemed to regain consciousness, and whispers "Kill me, I don't want to end up like that... thing promise me you'll kill me as soon as you're able."

Out of respect, Gwynne bowed slightly in response. Instead of seating herself on one of the overstuffed leather chairs or the dustcloth-covered couch, she stood near the entrance of the sitting room at a polite distance. She got the feeling that this very, very strong vampire would not be pleased if she acted on the other vampires' level. She didn't want to be "remodeled" any more than the next dead guy.

"Orrick Has sent you, yes." It was a statement not a question, "How may I help you. As he talks his eyes intently study each of you in turn, before he turns to Bakilas, and says "You have lovely eyes, particularly the left one."

Gwynne would have given Bakilas a sympathetic look, if she hadn't been too busy looking cool, collected, and meek. She continued to think to herself "You are one with the wall-paper... Barakah does not wish you to be stupid and get yourself remodeled... blend..." Gwynne fixed a vague smile onto her face, while all of her senses twitched and hummed with attentiveness.

OOC>>>Oh no! Mr. DM...when I had my system crash...I lost the information you and I discussed concerning my character's stats, strengths and weaknesses. Until you can send me more info, I will be playing on memory of those records only. Please help!

IC>>>

Storm had entered the room mesmorized. The furnishings were beautiful and classic. Just the sort of thing that he enjoyed in life, but found an even greater hunger for now that he had the eyes of an immortal. Details neverbefore realized were now easily viewed for this vampireling, and it would probably be the death of him one day. As he gazed over the paintings upon the wall, he was no longer aware of any activity around him, nor did he notice his host's arrival. So many details that were so finely crafted into the paintings...

OOC>>>My first attempt to play into my character's assigned "clan", and the clan's weakness for art. Without notes, this is the best I can dream up.

Mistral

She choked on the words, struggling to moisten her lips and throat.

"I promise."

It was a blurry world that spun around her, occasionally shoving its face in front of her. Mockingly, piteously. Then, something struck her.

"Promise... to do the same... to me."

"Yes I am rather proud of my... left eye, and rather attatched to it as well. Quite an interesting place you have here."

Bakilas barely suppressed a shiver as he examined the owner of the house. He notices the ghoul standing by the door, maybe she is not as dumb as he had first assumed.

The hole in his chest opens to reveal the eye. The orb glances around quickly as the man shudders, "If I get the chance I will, I swear." A single tear falls from the eye still on his face, and he goes limp again, seemingly losing consciousness.

Smiling slightly at the reactions of the assembled vampires, and the human they brought with them, your host is completely composed. Looking at Storm he says in a whisper that sends a shiver down your spine and tears you away from your examination of the room "I see you are interested in art, perhaps you would like to see more of my art?"

The large servant looks around the room, bows stiffly at the waist, and exits, his footsteps echoing hollowly through the room, a few seconds later he reenters carrying a box of carved and embossed stone, roughly 4'wide 6'tall and 4' tall, the creature seemed to be struggling slightly with the effort of carring it. when he brought it to the center of the room he set it down lightly, and walked back to a wall to await further instructions.

the room itself is large, about 40 square feet, with several sets of doors on each wall.

OOC anyone who has auspex (heightened senses) and uses it will get extra info PMed to them in nearly all situations.
