OOC:It's Lloth dangit!! [img]tongue.gif[/img] I just looked in R.A. Salvatore's book and it said Lloth! NOT Lolth! C'mon guys!

IC: As Aeris walked through the halls he grew tired and bored.He walked back to his room and on his way passed Calaethis's room. He wondered how he would fair against him , especially with Tagnik. He knocked on the door to see if he was in his room. Calaethis? Anyone? Is anyone in there? He spoke quietly , but loudly enough for anyone in the room to hear.

Calaethis said "One moment!" loudly enough for Aeris to hear, and unbolted the door... "Oh, hello Aeris, what brings you here?" Cal asked pleasently.

Aeris grinned. I have been bored wandering around the area bored...And I was wondering if you'd like to spar with me for awhile? Aeris's grin widened.If Cal said "no" he was still going to raise his blade against him and force him to defend himself.

Calaethis grinned, hold on a moment, he turned around and called to Tyra, "Tyra - I'm going to spar with Aeris - keep an eye on your sister please? I'll be back later, all right?" Tyra emerged, and smiled, then she slowly walked over to him, kissed his cheek and replied, "Good luck my lord" she smiled slightly.

Calaethis, drew Tagnik'zurjess and the sword spoke to him, << Calaethis - is this wise? But then, I suppose this is practise - I won't help you cheat though - not that your likely to, knowing you. >> Calaethis could feel the sword grin.

Calaethis lead Aeris down the hall to the main stairway and entrance. "Heres a good as spot as any." he said with a grin. Tagnik groaned, aloud he said "You two are going to get yourselves spanked - I hope Lady Verloren personally turns you across her knee and paddles you soundly Calaethis, considering your still a child, she shouldn't have that dragon of hers wallop you - she might though. And you Aeris - I hope Lord Avalon, does wallop you. The god's know, you two deserve it, very well, get on with this idiocy then."

Calaethis grinned, assumed guard postion, and threw a couple of blows at Aeris; which he of course deflected, Calaethis attacked again - overhead followed by a thrust, followed by a horizontal arc... the battle continued - then Calaethis assumed defensive and allowed Aeris to attack...

Aeris smiled. I don't like your swords tone Calaethis. He smiled again and made a few light thrusts at Cal with his blade , which he knew he would easily block or dodge. He began making new swings and arcs the his blade trying to throw Cal of balance while dodging. He then tried to make an overhead blow , but Cal held it back.There they stood , two strengths trying to froce against the other. Both their blades held there for moments. They both pushed upon each other trying to make the other force back. Aeris submitted and back away fast. Aeris then switched to defensive and waited for Cal to attack.

Deciding to finish this, Calaethis did a two handed overhead, knocking the drow back, then from the ground, he charged, his sword biting into the mable floor before coming up, the force of the blow knocking Aeris's blade back, - it would have shattered a normal blade - then he spun his entire body around whirling the sword, making it come up in a diagonal arc, right to left, then the opposite side, then he smacked Aeris's blade with the pomell of Tagnik, and the sword snarled "Be careful you dolt! This is only a practise!" Aeris stumbled back, awed at the firceness of Calaethis's sudden attack, and yelled loudly as he smacked Malar's blade with the flat of Tagnik's, sending a shock as the flats clashed, forcing Aeris to drop it. Tagnik sniffed, "Its a good thing I don't have any dents or chips in Calaethis. Thank your cousin the next time you see her for enchanting me against such things."

Verloren who had heard the racket, was standing at the doorway to the stairs... as was Skye, and a couple of the household staff and guards...

*OOC just to include everyone - who doesn't have anything to do, ok? I'll edit it if you don't like it, k?***

Aeris bent over at the force of the attack.His hands went numb from the shock of the blades hitting. Nice job Calaethis. Aeris said picking up Malar. He put it back in his sheeth and smiled at Cal. I will improve my skills and perhaps beat you next time.

Calaethis smiled, and inclined his head, "Another time then..." he looked at the marble flooring and winced. A long deep scratch was embedded in there. Tagnik sighed, "Now you've done it. Lady V will be mad at you..." Calaethis nodded. "But it was a accident though!" "You didn't have to spar here though. I suggest you go and find her..." Calaethis agreed, and turned around, and walked smack-bang into Verloren, "er... hello?" He said timidly...

Verloren frowned at the scrape in her pricey floor and glared at Calaethis,
"Since you are unable to pay for the repairs on my floor, not to mention you shouldn't have been fighting in the hallway in the first place, I'll have to punish you," she turned to Captiain Elon, who was next to her, "Captain, go to my quarters and fetch my swords,"
A grin bloomed on Elon's handsome face as he bowed, "Right away, your Higness," he trotted away and returned with her sword belt in hand.
Verloren tightened the sash on her robe and pushed her hair behind her ears before drawing the gleaming scimitars from their sheaths, "Alas, it has been too long since I have used you, my friends," she glanced at Calaethis, "Enough child's play. You're about to find out how a blade mistress punishes little boys who scratch her floor," She moved into an attack stance, eyes glittering scarlet in anticipation.

Alliene frowned at the drows words, "Dos doerrus ghil jorosin whol streea?" she glanced at the fading sunlight and cursed. She had hoped to be back at her sister's estates by now. Alliene whistled forWind Shadow to return and cast a paralysis spell on the drow, "Ios phuul biu terini'nestg krrja, wiu. Dorn plynn dos xuil ussa. Dos xal prove ulu tlu weafl," Alliene bent down and wrapped her arms around his waist, slinging him over her shoulder like a sack of grain. In a moment Wind Shadow appeared, perking his ears curiously, but Alliene shook her head and cast her Dimension Door spell into the pastures of Verloren's estates. She left the stallion to graze happily on familiar grass and made her way to the castle. Deciding it would be better to avoid the servants with a drow across her shoulder, she made her way around the back to a secret stair case that led up to her rooms on the fourth floor. Once arrived, she set him down on the dresser next to her bed and was about to leave to find her friends until she heard noises in her bathroom. Frowning, Alliene strode in to find the two elf slaves, the younger one bathing and theo lder sitting to the side. Alliene cleared her throat, "What exactly are you doing in my bathing room?"

Calaethis glanced at Verloren. Still the image of an elven noble, he barked, "Leave us!" looking Verloren straight in the eye, he replied, "It is my right." He paused, "Or let us conduct this elsewhere." he glanced up, and yelled loudly, "NOW! MOVE!" once they had all left or looked like they were leaving, Calaethis threw Tagnik to the ground. It fell with a clatter. He spoke softly, only she could hear him "Lets get this thrashing over with then, sister of my cousin. I refuse to part-take in this mockery of a duel, you know I am no match for you. Since you wish to thrash me - so be it. Would you prefer I remove my tunic?" he paused, "And oh, I can pay for one tile."

Tyra who had been sitting down, answered for her sister, "Who are - Lady Alliene?" she gasped. "You... these are your cousin's, Lord Calaethis's rooms, he instructed us to bathe... you do remember us, don't you, my lady? Lord Calaethis's two elven slaves - rescued from the Underdark?" her voice was filled with fear, and she was genuinely afraid of this dark-skinned drow, as were most sensible people.
