she helps him to a chair and rests him in it.she slides over a bloodwyne. now tell me what you think of this. its live blood with a hint of red wyne. very popular where i come from.

Shadow looks at the drink that vampyress offered him, "Er, well I guess I will try almost anything once."
He has a small sip "Well its not all that bad, rather good actually. How do I feel? The term confused comes to mind for one, along with rather angry. I never said I wanted to be a vampire, there are so many things I used to be able to do in sunlight which I will no longer be able to do. I admit, most of them were illegal but thats not the point. But I also see the good points, I feel stronger and even faster then I used to be (which was pretty damn fast, if I say so myself)."

ooc- gyaaaa, this week has been so hectic! [img]graemlins/1dizzy.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img] monday i got back from my trip so i had lotsa school work to catch up on (the trip was wonderful, thanx for asking shadowheart [img]smile.gif[/img] ) so i only had 3 hours of sleep, tuesday i almost fainted and i got home 9pmish and the power went out, then this morning i was an hour late to school because of it. [img]graemlins/help.gif[/img] the rest of my week looks about the same

Skye lay silently, contemplating all that Laisrean had said. Suddenly letting out a light laugh, she sat up. 'Perhaps he over estimated my empathy, just as I did. Who would have thought, me getting proven wrong by a vampyre?' she thought, smiling to herself. 'Then again, who's ever right?'

With a lighter heart than before, she stood up on the roof, stretching. Readying herself to clamber down the side of the building, she had the sudden feeling she was being watched. "Hello? Someone there?" Skye asked, a little timidly. Reaching with her mind, she could sense nothing. Then, before she could even utter a gasp, total blackness swirled around her. She felt sucked into the two bloodshot, burning, crimson orbs, falling into the bottomless holes, floating downwards and downwards..until she knew nothing...

Inside...
Duo observed Laisrean slip back in and breathed an inward sigh of relief. She didn't think that he would have tried to harm Skye, but you could never tell with people, vampyres or otherwise. She directed her attention back to Shadow and Vampyress, as the hapless half-elf attempted to save her. Watching Vampyress, controlled by her blood lust, bite into Shadow, Duo felt a little sympathetic for him, since he hadn't asked to become a vampyre.'As a male and a thief, he'd probably enjoy being a vampyre though,' she thought to herself.

Meanwhile, she felt her own blood lust rising up at the sight of another vampyre feeding. Shuddering slightly, Duo struggled to keep it under control, while a thought niggled at the side of her brain. Once she was able to concentrate on the thought, it was enough to call off some of her blood lust. "Huh." she said aloud, in a tone of perplexity. "Why does it feel like I'm missing something..? Almost as if I can't use one of my senses-!"Duo suddenly sat ramrod straight and uttered a low growl, the dark violet pupils of her eyes narrowing into slits of fear and anger. Running outside, so quickly that some of the vampyres couldn't even sense it, she stopped at the top of the inn. Looking frantically around, her nostrils suddenly flared, and she issued a vampyric scream of anguish, making the blood run cold and uneasy in the veins of anyone who heard it.

Rushing back into the inn as a blur, she stopped at the door. Her face was almost frighteningly calm, and the pupils of her eyes were mere slits, the crimson of them almost totally hiding the violet. "If I may be so bold as to impose upon you to help me recover my companion, Skye," she addressed the others, chillingly polite. "I believe I know what happened to her. In the past, we had a spot of trouble with one of those mindless, decayed vampyres. It got dangerously close to feeding off of Skye, and in my attempt to stop it, a piece of its fang broke off in the left side of her neck. Ever since then, the creature has marked Skye as its prey." After letting this sink in a bit, Duo continued. "The reason why I am asking for your assistance is because in my last run in with the creature, I was almost destroyed, which would have left Skye easy prey. Everytime I encounter it, it's stronger than before, and this should be no exception. But if you are to help, I need you now. There isn't much time... as it is, I've already lost connection with Skye, which means she's under the putrefying being's control already." Duo gazed from face to face impatiently, as she wasted precious seconds. A tremour of anger ran through her light frame, and her eyes flashed deadly crimson.

Shadow starts to stand, almost falls over but manages to look at duo and smile, "I will help, There has already been one half-elf turned into a vampire against their will, I will not let someone as innocent as Skye be taken. Besides I can feel myself getting stronger, faster and incredably deadly and I would love to try out what I can do."

He grabs a nearby bottle of bloodwyne, "But this is coming with me."

OOC- Sounds like a hectic week skye, but as long as you enjoyed yourself.

she watches shadow and the evil craving inside of her dies. she agrees with duo in that he may enjoy it. after hearing the news about skye she is angry that any thing would take a being from her tavern. her eyes change from blue to deep red almost crimson. her hair changes shape and is pulled back in to a tight braid. her outfit changes into that of skin tight leather pants with a tight black cotton t'shirt. her pale skin seems nearly white. her boots become knee high lace ups. she carrys a few daggars in her boots. 2 guns strappd to each thigh and a 30-06 on her back. more weapons are hidden elsewhere on her. she is an intimidating yet beautiful woman. she turns to shadow.

what must be done to stop this one. not a single soul shall be harmed from my tavern if i have any thing to do with it.

ooc- eep, scary. ^^; *an image of Lara Croft comes to mind...* its just like in anime.. the weapons show up when needed, and people dont ask where they were kept [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

IC - "No offense vampyress but I think that I would like to try out my abilities on my own. But I will ask you any questions that may arise if you permit me."

Shadow draws one of his daggers and makes a couple of practice stabs, each one getting faster and faster until it is nothing but a blur to even the most observant mortal's eye.

"Yes well, I may very well get used to this."
