Shadow takes a deep sip from his goblet, "It is a pleasure to meet you, vampyress and Tabius. I am here due to a unfortunate incident involving me, a rather expensive ring and the city guard. So you are all vampires? How odd.
Dare I ask how you all became vampires? I find it rather interesting."

i became a vampire because my village was raided about 300 years ago and all the women were turned to vampires by the enemy. all the men were killed and they killed my family and i have been cursed with this for eternity. they attacked it bc we had been a dormant village for ever 1200 years and they thought we were weak and we were so they took about 10 women and turned them into what i am today. they told us that we would face eternity as ther're slaves but i escaped and here i am.
the fire of hatred returns to her eyes and she rails her fist through the table. realizing what she did she walks over to a nearby window with her back to them all.

she turned to the door and races to the lake and crimson tears run swiftly down her cheeks. she collapses to the ground. she has tried so long to avoid her past but it was time for her to face who she is. she pounds the ground repeatedly and cries tears of blood. screaming at the moon in another indistinguishable language.

Shadow looks at the table and wonders if it was such a good idea to ask that question. He orders another bottle of elven wine and signels to the barkeep to clean up what remains of the table and spilt drinks.

"Shadow,I am an elf,not a vampire,even though it might be interesting to be one I am not a vampire." He then looks of at vampyress. He walks over and leans down beside her. "Dear,I know your pain,my village too was destoryed,but not by vampires,but by drow.Many were forced into slavery.My father was killed,and my mother was taken away."He leans over and gives her a comforting pat on the back.

ooc- eep! so many posts for me to catch up on! ^^; for those interested in Vampire:The Masquerade clans and stuff, check out this website. http://www.white-wolf.com/vampire.html As for everyone's posts to my two characters, ill reply to them in the order i was addressed.. ^^;;

IC- Duo grinned at Shadow. "I suppose I came here out of curiousity. Curiousity can be a terrible thing. It's a good thing I'm not a cat, or I would have been dead long ago." She couldn't help laughing at the thought. Skye also smiled at the half-elf. "Thank you for your reassurance, but I'm just naturally shy. It takes me awhile to warm up to a person." Duo smirked. "Yeah, her mortal qualities make life more interesting. She helps me remember how to be humane, instead of dying emotionally, like most vampyres do." She laughed a bit wryly. "Personally, I would have changed her into a vampyre long ago, if I hadn't known that it would kill her personality, as well as her magical talent. Eh well, half-elves have pretty long life spans as it is." Duo shrugged, then looked at the others with a glint in her eye. "Just keep that in mind, in case any of you get... thirsty." The light glinted ominously off of her long eyeteeth as she smiled dangerously.

Duo stretched with a sigh then turned and smiled ruefully at Laisrean. "I don't know why I really even bother saying that I'm part of the Giovani clan... old habits die hard, I suppose. I am part of the clan, but havent been near anyone part of any clan for a long time... I didnt really fit in very well. Too, uh, extravagant and energetic, to put it lightly," she grinned and winked at him. "I've often been accused of being part of the Brujah or Toreador clan, and even the Malkavian once or twice, from a few of the older vampyres," She said, and shook her head in merriment and disbelief.

Duo watched Vampyress leave and houl in pain and fury. She had a sad, faraway look in her eyes, but said nothing. Skye walked over to the vampyress. "Please, come back and join us. The pain you must have felt.. still feel must be tremendous, because you can never escape it, as an immortal. But please, let us at least try to help you, for this moment in time."

OOC- for the people who didnt want to read this post, Duo's a vampyre and Skye's a half-elf. If anyone has the book Vampire:The Masquerade, would you mind sending me the section about the Giovani clan? I'd appreciate it. ^^

OOC: Skye, I don't have it but my best friend has it over at his house, He's not in right now but I'll get the info on Giovanni for you later tonight.

"I know what you mean, Duo. It's hard to be bound by the chains of your unchosen Clan, especially when they are the Assamites." He lets out a small laugh.

"Though they're of a provocative and rough nature, sometimes as loud as the Malkavians themselves... One would say I enjoy the tastes of a Toreador and the solitude of Clan Gangrel." He smiles. "You are not alone, you see."

He turns to Skye, and looks to her for a brief moment before addressing her. "How did the two of you come to travel together? A vampire with a mortal Elf... It intrigues me." He takes another sip of his drink and looks to them both with a slight grin.

IC- Duo and Skye looked at eachother, then looked back at Laisrean. Duo grinned. "Rather interesting story, that. As all vampyres do, I was going out to find some nice, er, prey. I stumbled upon a human village, who were going to kill Skye, who was accused of being a witch. Superstitious lot, some mortals are. Well, I figured I might as well have her, if she's going to die anyways. But things never work out as a person wants to, and after some interesting conversations, we became companions." Skye spoke up. "She promised to harm me, and in return I try to make her remember what it's like to feel emotion. I can't imagine how it would feel, to be unable to feel anything..." she shivered.
Duo looked up at Laisrean. "Plus I have some personal interest in preserving her magical talent, as I find it to be useful for the good of mortality and immortality alike. I suppose we could be considered friends. You have any interesting life story to tell?"

Notices that the number of guests in the tavern has certainly increased. Welcomes everyone and says "Excuse me i'll be back in a moment". Runs over to vampyress to mitigate her pain and subdue the tears on her beautiful face.
Enters the cafe again.
"Now where were we", said the Assassin. "Perhaps you would all care to introduce yourselves to me" pauses and then says "Oh where are my manners! I am known here as the Assassin of Shadows and you". Awaits replies while intently staring at the other guests.
