I was seeking the shelter of your cabin so that I could rest before continuing my search when I heard your plan to just "walk in" and let yourself be captured. That's sounds very foolhardy to me, but I'm a man of opportunity. If you're willing to act as bait, then I'm willing to follow along with your lady friend and help watch your back. You seek your friend, I seek the mage himself. I propose we work together so that we may both survive the experience."

OOC>>LOL, Cerek, I am giving Shaitann the same dimensions as a Clydesdale (1600-2400 lbs. (See http://clydesusa.com/clydesdale_faq.htm). With a six-foot knight in full plate, not to speak of harness, etc., he could easily top two tons.

The iron point, undeflected by any armor, goes right through the horny hide and, smashing a rib, deflates a lung and a major blood vessel before emerging on the other side. Blandamour, feeling the lance beginning to strain, lets go and, using his heels alone, wheels Shaitann back to the staggering foe. The great sword Cold Iron whisks from its sheath.)

ELIZA (The gargoyle is rolling about in agony, the lance still in his chest. As the huge head goes lolling past her, she seizes the opportunity and stabs it through the eye. It shudders and falls dead. She dismounts and cautiously examines it.)
