Waking in a the pile of rubble where he passed out, Kishin raises up to
his knees and notices that pretty much everyone has cleared out, minus a few soldiers here and there and some people throwing stones at the dead demon's body, he thinks to himself, how rude,I come here for fun and end up fighting a pitched battle against a demon and then pass out and no one even checks on my body, hmmpff I feel so violated,
maybe father was right about these lands, nothing but barbarians and savages who wear metal suit's. Looking around to make sure he has all his belonging's he gathers himself up dust's himself off and heads out of town..

Raymond

Listening intently to the discussion, Raymond became furious and embarrassed that he had not been by his loved one's side at the time of her need. He was grateful to Galadria for her help and importantly her ressurrection ability, as well as her friendship to poor Isaura. Looking over to her and speaking when there was a pause, he said,

"My dear, I failed you, and should not have let you run off. This whole thing, including your amnesia is my fault. If not for Galadria here, I would have lost you forever!"

Turning eye now to Galadria, he spake,

"Ma'am, if I may pay back this miracle you have beset upon Isaura, I would like to accompany you now, and meet these assailants. I want to personally challenge them for thier conduct."

Looking back over to Isaura he said,

"I have become more than I used to be! Before-hand,,,I knew not how to control my anger, thus my transformation took over my body and I lost consciousness in turn. Now, with the help of the druid, I am able to do many more wonderful things, and best of all, I maintain stability, whereas before-hand there was none."

Realizing that she probably had no idea what he was talking about, as well as the Paladin, Raymond explained...

"Isaura, you and I were travelling along a dark road one night and were attacked by a were-beast. Obviously, we both survived, but at a cost to me. I was infected with the curse of transformation, and it came about when my anger boiled hot. A druid discovered this curse upon me and helped teach me how to return to civility and peace of mind. I had been with her in learning when you escaped for reasons of your own. Then, a battle with a demon took place in which we have just come out of victorious, but I nearly died in the attempt. Galadria here has saved my life and yours. I take it that we are now both indebted to her."

GALADRIA (Blushing furiously) "Nay, dear boy, let us talk not of indebtedness. It was my duty, plain and simple. I should have been ashamed to have done otherwise. But, as for accompaying me, yes, you may. If your friend, here, had been slain, that were an injustice indeed, but I cannot help but think that there is something else behind it. Why would a bunch of roughs like that kill a simple old woman, as I saura appeared to be? There was no attempt at robbery, they were standing around gloating as if they had just done something clever. I don't like it, and I shall find out what happened. My sense that there are greater miscreants involved will not go away. So, tomorrow, we shall take horse for Korup-Shun, after I get my leave. I am sure that Sir Blandamour will not be sorry to see me go." (she glares at Eliza, who is looking at her rather satirically)

Isaura

All this happened? ~ Yet she cannot grasp the reality of it; it seems like an exciting tale related to wary travellers over a cosy fireplace - nothing more. She stifles a resigned sigh as she feels the gaze of Galadria and Raymond upon her nervous face and once again, nods helplessly.

"I... I'll do as you wish, Galadria." ~ But I would be more than glad, I think, to leave things be... ~ She looks down into her mug, apparently fascinated by its contents.

SIR BLANDAMOUR (He carefully does not hear any of this, shifting from foot to foot and focusing on the ceiling.)

Raymond

With reality and fear finally reaching him that Isaura may never remember their past love and that she may never again love him...Raymond was almost lost into scarlet fury in his mind. Waking himself up and looking at the two girls with teary eyes, he announced,

"I will do everything I can to find those men and make them pay for what they have done. And now I have the power to do so! This will be my finest hunt. When do we start?"

OOC>> I apologize for my absence. I actually made this same basic Post several nights ago, but the system "blinked" and I lost the whole thing. It was too late at night and I was too tired to do it over then. Since then, I've gotten involved in a couple of heated threads on G.D. --- and I still have the Octagon to run, which is becoming badly neglected.

BTW Galadria, I'm still "lurking" in your other thread that you offered to let me join. I just haven't found a good place to show up yet.

Now, back to this story...

Addison recognized the station of the elder monk that approached him and bowed respectfully as he had been taught in the monastary.

Wearing gloves specifically enchanted to nullify the magical effects of any items held by them, he carefully picks up the amulet and stares deeply into the gem. Looking closely, he can faintly see the mage trapped within. He then turns to Ni Deng as they enter the building.

"I suspected this amulet was a source of great power - and great evil as well. I agree that it would be wise to destroy it if possible, but I am still new to this quest myself. I know not the history of this item, or what role it is meant to play. I do not know if my comrades seek to destroy it or if it is to be used for some greater good.

I feel that I should discuss this course of action with the rest of our friends before making any decision. I especially want the Lady TAO's opinion. I get the impression that she is the driving force behind the retrieval of the amulet. Therefore, I think the final decision should be hers.

If she agrees with your suggestion, I will be happy to take the enchanted hammer to it myself. Come, let us join the rest of the group in the tavern. I feel the need for some rest and a frothy mug of ale myself."

OOC>>> No worries, Cerek I think it's more important that we post only when we feel like it, cos that's when our creativity will result in good quality posts

Ni Deng

"If that is how you are wishing it. The tools will not be growing legs and walking away. But the amulet will probably be doing so eventually.
I must be asking you not to be telling any others how it can be destroyed. If you must, tell only that I know of a way.
And stop your bowing. I am being nothing but a simple gardener, and have been all my life."

With Cerek leading the way, Ni Deng left the complex quickly to join the man's companions. Or he would have left quickly, if age had not been a factor.

OOC>>Cerek, I know what you must be going through, with a newbaby in the house. Just jump in when the time seems ripe. IC>>
GALADRIA (She presents herself to Sir Bors and tells him of their plans. He frowns and says,"And you propose to go to this city, the stink of which has been in the Order's nostrils for many years, with just yourself, and these two others? Nay, you must take more than that. Sir Blandamour is here, and now at liberty. Take him, and whoever else wishes to go.)(She almost makes a face, but duty forbids)"Aye, my Lord. Will your Lordship tell Sir Blandamour? For, I fear he would not takemy word, alone."
