SIR BLANDAMOUR (The next day, the army reaches Erebos, the home base of Bazguul and his army. It is quickly invested, and siege lines set up around the town, and all major roads blocked. He is by the side of Sir Bors as he leads a party to the front gates. A Herald of the Order blows a trumpet and cries: "The Order of the Sacred Heart of Lathander has come. You, oh city that holds the vile demon Bazguu'tek, send someone forth to tell us why we should not overrun this sinkhole and wipe it from the face of the Earth!"

ic: The air seemed to shimmer in front of the group and then another audible popping sound is heard as Kishin reappears. Strapped across his back is now a strange carrying aparatus with an even stranger bow attached to it, His clothing has changed and you notice he is wearing an off white pair of hakima (pants)that hide his feet almost looking like a dress.(too much detail to go into here, picture a samuri)his top being tucked into the pants of a red and white checkerd pattern.
There are two insignia's embroidered into each side of the top, as you look at them, they continually change form. Other then the bow you see no other weapons or for that matter no arrow's either.
"I am ready, shall we find the enemy?"

A messenger runs down to tell Bazguul what has befallen. He explains the situation, and asks what is to be done.

Bazguul: "Hmmm...Well...I can't say I was not waiting for this. Let them know that I have three children in my possession that were taken prisoner. Ask the army if they value the lives of these. Go."

The messenger runs back to the outside and goes out to meet the army, nervously.

"My Master, Bazguul'tek wishes to know if you were aware that he has three small children prisoner in his holdings and what is that to you?"

SIR BLANDAMOUR (He and Sir Bors receive the news about the hostages with stony faces)

SIR BORS"Herald, tell the varlet that we shall cry for the childer when we have taken the town and sent him back to Baator or whatever region of the Planes he fouls with his presence. Now is the time of the sword, and we shall not falter. Mercy misplaced makes the goddess weep. Tell him that we shall begin the bombardment in one hour." (He gestures towards a group of huge catapaults and ballistae. A group of sappers has begun to dig a trench parallel to the wall, just out of catapault shot.)

ELIZA (She shrinks a bit inwardly at the mention of the children, but, surveying the grim faces around her, tosses her head and glares daggers at the gate above which stands the messenger.)

I had hoped that TAO would be around to play in this...I had plans for her...but let's at least get started since you are edgy .

I will try to keep magic to a sensible, explainable level. But if I can dream it up, I will try it. You guys just have to out-think me !!


The messenger ran as fast as he could to tell Bazguul what had happened. Smiling to himself, he reached over to one of the cages and yanked the child through the bars, severing his arms off since this shoulders would not fit through. The remaining children screamed in horror. Bazguul handed the bloody child that had past out from the pain to the messenger and said,

"Take this to the one who spoke to you. Tell him...I decided to be generous and release one of them!"

The messenger was sick to his stomach, but did as he was bode. He through the barely alive child to the ground in front of the paladin when he got to the gates. He looked into the eyes of the apparent leader, and said..."I hope you are ready to die, paladin!", then prodiced a dagger from his belt and raced toward the man.

In the tunnels under the city, Bazguul was making his own preparations. He was ordering the humans to several tasks, and sending some up through the back way out of the city to be used in strategy when he ordered it. He thumbed the amulet in thought.

Well......madman knew he would have to explain his sordid past to these new aqqaintences(??!?!)

''Well as you may have reaised i am a fugitive , the local lawmen blame me for killing a rather influential local noble. And i did it.
however just andright his death was the lawmen and bounty hunters will never see it .. that is why i continue to fight, you see this noble was very rich and used his money as a tool for evil exploitation...he had to be stopped and now as a result my body is worth the same as it is or cold and dead it doesnt matter to them...that my friends is how it is....

ELIZAShe races to the injured child and wraps her cloak about the bleeding wounds and turns to a Priest of Ao that is standing nearby, casting continual Protection forom Evil and asks) "Please, Sir, cannot you use your healing powers on her?"

SIR BLANDAMOUR (As the messenger runs toward them brandishing the knife, he lowers his lance. Shaitann paws the earth, spoiling to charge. However, several crossbows twang and the man falls to the ground, covered in bolts. They turn and ride back to the lines. He notices Sir Bors trotting off to confer with the man-at-arms in charge of a particularly large catapault. He rides over to where Eliza is succoring the wounded child.) "Never fret, little one, the child is safe." (He casts Lay On Hands)"Now, take her to the field hospital, then return to me, here."
