As all this was going on around them, Hevvien and the strong one were casually eyeing each other up and down, waiting for the other to make the first move. Hevvien drew his wand and his opponent enters a battle stance. The Drow holds the wand straight out in front of him and shoots a beam of purple light right into its mouth and starts to steal its energy.

The purple light faulters, and cuts out... the wand snaps.. the energy released creates another ShadowRider, which targets Glorfindel... the Strong one raises its longsword, and strikes Hevvian once, full on, with twice the speed of even an Elf.

OOC: Flubba, can you please try to use present tense ?? It fits in better with the way you write.

Watching as the Shadow Riders are momentarily crippled by the blasts Glorfindel sees his chance and charges out to a close rider, he jumps up and starts slashing wildy at the rider before hitting the ground and charging for cover behind another pillar.

Seeing the new Rider Glorfindel swears and runs out from behind the pillar and sends a fireball at the charging Rider. Quickly ducking behind the next pillar the Fireball hits its target and detonates and the pillar sheilds Glorfindel from the blast.

A tall, black-clad Half-Orc enters the scene, a lute on his back and carrying several big black cases. He's wearing strangely shaped dark-glassed spectacles.
"Hey y'all, how's things going here? My latest tour of the Realms was a blast! Fans lining up for yards outside the taverns, and man, those groupies were something else - what the...!"
He abruptly stops speaking as a lightning bolt hits the wall only inches from his left ear, and seems to notice the huge battle now for the first time. Dropping his luggage, he reaches for his morningstar.

OOC: Wow, this thread is colorful. Sorry about my long absence, guys n' gals. I've been having tests at school lately, and those sucked up a lot of my time.

Glorfindels sparing partner raises its longsword, and strikes him several times, slowly, causing some minor damage.

Meanwhile, the apparently idle Shadowrider who was attacking J'aran, who has just entered, walks over and continues to attack J'aran who has just entered. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Slashing at the attacking rider again Glorfindel connects and slashes a deep gash in its left arm, then the wailing shadow gets ready to attack Jaran from behind, noticing that Jaran is not watching the rider behind him Glorfindel sends Mordenkins Force Missiles at the Beast, redirecting its attention to him.

OOC: Where'd ya get ur new Sig Jaran.

It's not exactly new anymore, I've been using it for one or two months now, but I got the main pic of the Half-Orc Bard off the PC portraits section at the official AD&D website, here, and edited it a bit with MS Paint(! ).

IC:Completely baffled at the mayhem all around, J'aran can find no other alternative then to quickly cast Magic Missile at the charging Shadowrider. After this he retreats behind a nearby sofa to think a bit on what would be the best strategy in this situation.

As she watches the next ShadowRider come at her, she realizes she knows what to do........~She reaches into a pouch, and pulls out Belladonna, mixed with black rose petals....she rubs this onto an ancient rune, TIWAZ, made from the power of Oak, and set with one citrine stone.....~She pulls out a sling, and hurls this ancient rune at the ShadowRider, watching him catch it in his hand, looking at it.........vines appear from the rune, and cover him.............inlocking him within the thorns.....she turns to help Shadowhound................
