Hmmmm... that is correct, that Warhammer can hit Kangaxx, but I forgot, like most people, since it is a relatively weak weapon. Added it to the list. Thanks for the help.

Ok, redid the layout again. Sorry about the banner ads, but this is the catch with free service. I am looking for a server that will accept Debit cards, so that I can get rid of the annoying banner ads.

The links to the Dragon and Sorcerer websites are non-functional, so no need to click on them. Only the Kangaxx link is working and operational.

Any opinions?

I'm getting a dead link Dundee. Tried to click the link you supplied in your first post and tried the link in your sig. Nothing.

ooooooohhh frames,

Nice Dundee. The pictures loaded quickly, and the information was simple and straightforward. The frames was a big plus too - easier navigation. I prefer this style over the earlier since it gives the reader a choice of how much he wants to spoil himself.

Speaking of spoiler...
I'm currently in chapter 5 so I had to stop myself from reading all the chapter six weapon descriptions you have. ( read 2-3 item details ) The text colors help to highlight the names of weapons rather than their descriptions so there isn't a problem there....unless ppl just want to read em.

* one question*
Dundee, do you know if there is a time limit on using the freedom scroll/spell once your party members are imprisoned? The only freedom scrolls I've found available are in chapter 5 so if a player has trapped npcs from doing Gaxx in chapter two, will he be able to free them after chapter 5? It's not a big question, but just curious about it.

I thought about the battles I had with Gaxx and remembered thinking there were only two ways to beat em. I used the Staff of the Magi and sling of Everard. Without knowing of the scroll/spell protections, I set all my characters except Aerie with her staff of the Magi to a far corner. If Aerie gets the attention from Gaxx by standing next to him, he will not imprison the others who are not protected magically. Not sure if you want to throw this in. I'm saying this because if I were to read the spoiler, I'd probably think I'd have to use those scrolls/spells on every member I have, which isn't the case, and some of those scrolls are just too important. Just an option.

Great site and great info. Will look forward to checking out the rest of the site when it's up.

Thanks, I am trying desperately to look for a webserver service that accepts debit cards, because the presence of the banner ads are cramping the frames. The alternative is to... *shudder* switch to pop-up ads instead of banner ads. I despise pop-up ads, and would rather die than give in to them.

I will insert a spoiler space in between the two sections.

Truth be told, I have no idea whether there is a time limit, but I think there is none; but the area must be the same. For example, the De'Arnise Keep is replaced with a different map if you get it as a Stronghold, if your character was Imprisoned in the first version, you will be unable to free him/her from the second version.

Kangaxx's AI has been changed in ToB to overcome this loophole. Besides, better safe than sorry. The Ring of Gaxx is more than enough incentive to spend a little more resources.

Don't get your hopes too high. I am kinda daunted by the Dragon site I am trying to build. It may take weeks before it is completed, by which time people may be disinterested in BG2 already.

"It's done!"

"Sorry DS, NWN came out."

The Sorcerer section is still pending, as I am rather satisfied with the current version; but for the sake of easier reference, I may include it.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my last post. Berserkers can enrage whilst fatigued, but they cannot re-enrage in the fatigue period caused *immediately* after enraging (if that makes sense). You must wait a short while until this fatigue wears off before you can enrage again, which is a pain in the ass when you're in the middle of a Kangaxx battle.

In terms of other weapons, there's always the Staff of the Woodlands +4. I realise that this is only obtainable in the final chapter of the game, but it is entirely possible to return to Athkatla from Suldanessalar, and so could be used to defeat Kangaxx late in the game.
