(the group continues until they reach a small cavern, suitable for rest. As they are preparing to rest, the drow child that they had freed comes up whimpering, asking if she can sleep with them. Galadria says no, but she can sleep outside the cavern mouth. Viconia is uneasy about this, and she watches the child as she pretends to sleep. She sees the child rise up stealthily as the attention of the sentry is elsewhere, and watches as she sneaks over to her bedroll and reaches for her knapsack. Suddenly she jumps up with weapon in hand)
VICONIA (Yells) "Awake, all! Treason! (as she tries to strike the child with the hammer, it metamorphs into a Handmaiden of Lolth, and attacks Viconia with a huge club)
(It was indeed a fearsome creature that faced the Drow and her rapidly awakening companions. In appearance, it was a tentacled being taller than a drow elf and resembled a half-melted candle with elongated, droopy features. Its skin was yellow and slimy. As Viconia attacked it, she felt an enormous hand fasten to the back of her tunic and whisk her back. In her place now stood Attalus, who slashed the thing with Carsomyr. A summoned Balor immediately appeared beside it

With the handmaiden about to strike Viciona, you hear a shriek from it, and it falls dead. You see a gleaming blade on its back, and then you see SecretMaster staring at the black blood dripping from the back.
"You guys oughta be more careful. I had to leave you right before the fight, for I had recongnized some marks on the girl. If my thoughts were right, we would of been dead, but yes, I noticed metamorphisis marks on her, marks that only a drow handmaiden could have. But there was another thing, and after finding it, I fear we must camp in a new area. She had an enchament that let high mages see what she saw, so as you can see, guards must be on there way. Lets move!"

"Damn, a balor! $_*(&#$W&%_ Now I've had it. Where is that fool Skip?He has my pack which has a banishment device. SKIP!!"

Here it is, aloh mutheriun projernethrauth!. You watch a intese bright flash light up the underdark, and everything looks as if it was day. Within seconds, the flash disapears and the Balor is gone.

"Needs to recharge now, but don't fear, i think we'll find a new camp/

(they move to a new cavern)(as they gather to rest, while Galadria is talking to Secretmaster, she slips over to where Attalus is laying his bedroll beside Galadria's) "I want to thank you, Attalus, for pulling me away from that thing and standing it off. That was a brave thing, and an unselfish one, risking your life for your wife's servant.(she puts her hand on his arm, and they exchange glances)
Attalus(blushes slightly) "Think nothing of it, Vicky. I'm a lot bigger than you. I didn't think that thing could get through me. Only thing a gentleman could do."
Viconia(she massages his arm, gently, keeping her eyes locked on his) "Whatever you say, it is comforting to know that this strong arm is always between me and Lolth. Sleep well, Myrinss sssli." she goes off and lays down, her back to him)

I doubt the handmaidens of Lloth will give up after just attempt. We should keep our eyes and ears open. Kyorl jal bauth kyone, lets not allow a thing like this to happen again.
