A tall, black robed figure watches the joyous paladin approach the group of companions. "Ah well, I need some excitement" he says to himself.
He approaches the group, his metal tipped staff clinking on the ground. "Have you room for another mage in your party good sirs?" He asks them. Male Elf Mage Chaotic Good Weapons: quaterstaff Armor: none Spells: Some simple offensive spells. |

"Aye, magic is always welcome, specially friendly."he said ~hmm, a party of six, things should get interesting,~ "We are departing tomorrow in the morning," if ye wish you should go to the tavern and have a drink or lay down for the night, for 7 o'clock comes early. May the gods protect our journey. I almost forgot, whom do i have the pleasure of aquinting?"

The paladin drove his warhorse to the deck and saw the group that the young man mentioned. "This must be them" He muttered. With renewed excitment, he rode to the group and addressed them "Helm guide your journey, gentlemen! May I ask if this is, by any chance, the group set out to save a citidal?"

"I is named Ni Deng. It would be nice offer you make, going to inn. But I don't not think beer is okay with my order."
The old, bald man turned around very slowly instead, and walked (or rather crept on only his two feet) over to a patch of ground near one of the buildings. Kneeling down, he started to make the soil fit to plant in. |

The paladin looked at the bald monk with curiousity, clearing his throat, he approached the man "Hail, stranger!" His own voice clear and firm, booming through his battleworn plate armor. A pair of gaunlet on his hands, with the design of rose and sword, an old fashion of Helm. He smiled to the monk friendly, for these people are known for their righteousness and awestriking feats. He vividly remembered the encounter with the monks of the Order of Tremere, and the pleasent and inspirational evening spent thereafter.
After a moment of wait, he dares not to disturb the monk's meidation, then spoke "I am Carlos Neiko, loyal and faithful servant of Helm, He who beholds the Balance. Well met to you, friend. may I ask what order do you belong to?" |

"No, you may not. My order are being highly secretive and hidden in secret. Even I am being unaware of my order name."
Ni Deng wondered if the man would buy it. Probably not as he looked all paladinny. Paladins had a way of telling truth from lies. At least, Ni Deng thought, they could not read minds. "But a hail I give to you. We go travel together, yes? Then glad I am, for is it not written: 'There is no such thing as a blue cow'?" |

Carlos' frowned slightly. He had heard of the dark monks of the Order of the Dark Rose, and... some interesting tales about them too. Those monks who spoke only sign because they mumified their own tongues and used them as magical talisms, he thought distastfully "foul magics"
"Be it your way then, my hideious friend. How fares travel?" Ignoring the comments on the cattles, he decided to start with some lighthearted topic, this monk is obviously head strong... |

"Travel are being okay." After a moment he added "And you?"
Ni wondered what the paladin wanted. He had heard of these social ones, beings that enjoyed speaking to other beings. He had even seen one trying to join the order. That one didn't last long. He was listened to, but never got a reply. Drove the boy insane. No monk of his order was truely social. Social ones go crazy. The monnks don't want to go crazy. So they are not social. And secretive. Maybe the man was trying to bring him off guard. Well, Ni Deng would catch him. Mentally, he was already searching for a suitable quote to embarrassthe paladin. |

Nodding, the paladin replied courteously "Praise Helm, my travel fares well, though a dangerous road I walked." Somehow he missed the time that he spent with the unique Naftarus clan vampire Sharlor, she was the sympathetic one then. The paladin sighed inwardly, falling from grace, Sharlor had somehow managed to safekept a portion of her humanity away from the blood curse. A strange cozzy feeling cluncthed the man's heart as he remembered Sharlor's peaceful look when the paladin undoned her curse...
Shaking head, Carlos looked up to the monk "Yeah, my travel fares well. A rewarding journey I must say." Blinking away the sting in his eyes, he asked "Have you, by any chance, heard of the mist land of Byvalon?" |

Ni figured it would be another trick question. There was probably some kind of order in that region.
A small smile came to the man's lips. The paladin would not get much information the monk did not want to give. It was written: 'no answer is also an answer, ask any fool'. He had asked. Ni Deng knew not answering the paladin would tell him more than if he gave a meaningless reply. "I thinking I read a bit in big scroll, yes? Very misty place?" |
