No Bard for me?

If at a future time I want a Bard, is it stupid to think that the Scroll of Trickery will be back in Kreugs study? I wasn't on a Bard quest, and I tried three times with that chest, but the S of T wasn't in it. I really want a Bard (being musically inclined) and Bards don't seem to be very popular. As far as I know, the Scroll will only appear if you are on the Bard quest - in the same manner as the Ring of Saints quest and the Sword of Mastus quest. Yeah, Bards don't seem to be very popular, but I'm tempted too.

You must have the bard quest for there to be a scroll; furthermore, if one becomes a bard now and another gets the bard quest . . . that tricky little scroll (hm, florida ballot?) reappears in the serpent temple room over the library again. Mussy enjoys her Pipes of pain since she is very high in magics it is a nice fall back. She went thief, bard, samuri. It is a bit more convenient to do the same quest at the same time but I would do the whole party. I had two bards at different times, before I realised I could double up.

My bard is working out very well. The music trait is just a way to cast spells without using any mana, the bard moves right up the moon spells, and she has all the thief skills and traits.
