--Valygar or Keldorn--Which one to choose-- - Page 3

Keldorn--7 Valygar--3

Ok people before i choose which 1 to take....1 more question which I asked a few replies back...
U know that Cowled Wizard in the Government District..how he gives you that quest to kill Valygar and bring his body back...well..a few replies back some1 said that u can use Valgar's body to open the Planar Sphere..BUT..if u give the Cowled Wizard his body..can u still open the Planar Sphere...? I'm a Paladin so do i even need to get into Planar Sphere??

I think you should be able to still go into the Sphere. But why should you kill Valygar? If you don't want him around, just pick him up, bring him to the entrance of the sphere and chuck him after the door is opened (automatically). That's my non-violent way of dealing with the problem of choices.

And you will want to go into the sphere, cos it has a very powerful magical item inside.

If you wanna open the Planar Sphere, just tell some member (Keldorn if you want) to sit down for a little bit and bring Valygar. He can open up the Sphere. Actually you might get extra exp at the end if you finish the sphere with Valygar. But then I'd drop Valygar (he goes back to Umar Hills) and bring your other character. I.e., don't take Valygar just for the Sphere.

I think Keldorn is a super bad ass tank with gauntlets of dexterity. In addition to true sight / dispel, his free action ability as inquisitor rules too. I like to cast lots of web/hold/etc spells. You can send him in a beat up on people when they are stuck.

Keldorn is an old fart who needs to retire. Valygar with his
backstabbing, 9 better dex, same hit points, young stud attitude,
wins hands down. Put a good pair of gauntlets on Valygar (instead
of having to waste them with Gaunt. of Dex) and he's WAY better
than the dispels and true sight you get with Keldorn.

Just my opinion.
