newbie stuck opening doors

just started playing game, on level one, cant get past golems to open doors. Thief doesnt work as they are magical.
Any ideas?

Some of the doors can only be opened by the clay golem you met earlier (opposite the room with lots of laboratory apparatus).

The clay golem asks you for the activation stone, so happy hunting

It's called the sewer-golem to be correct.

If you talk/help the guy in the glass container (you'll get an energy cell after that) there's a table within his room. On that table is a stone of some kind. That's the stone to activate the sewer golem. Hope this helps.'

Hours fo searching and doublesearching and i still cant find activation stone for golem. The men in jars wont talk unless i find power cell, which is nowhere to be found?

I think that you have to kill some vampire type of thing...one of those that looks like its wearing harum pants...to get the energy cell. The activation stone can be gotten after you 'help die' a poor fellow that has been kept in a jar for a few years. Let him die and the stone is there on a table...I am remembering this from awhile back, so please forgive the possible inaccuracies.

nope, ive killed everything cept the 2 golems.
still no stone or power cell

I think he walked by the room, where the activation stone is. I remember I did the first time I played. Try opening every door. Not all of them are locked.
