I'm trying to use the cheat by using the Debug Mode=1 but it isn't working. Each time I use it there's a syntax error. Does this occur because I use Windows 2000?
Any help is appreciated |

You shouldn't Cheat
 It's been known that Windows 2000 causes problems with BG2 but i have no idea if that's the problem You could ofcourse also try Cheat Mode=1 ------------------ I Am The SunGod Here To Enlighten You |

Did you go down and put the cheats=1 in the game options some places where it tells you to set up the cheat it does not tell you. As you probaly know every thing is case sensitive. Other than that I would not have a clue.

I think the problem is the code itself. Make sure you type the right code, and if you're trying to create an item, make sure it exists (there's no such thing as BELT192 for example)
And it is indeed case sensitive. If you are trying to add 5000 gold, for example, the code would be CLUAConsole:AddGold("5000") followed, of course, by pressing the return key. ------------------ The last arrow of Legolas kindled in the air as it flew, and plunged burning into the heart of a great wolf-chieftain. Yes another dutchie, long live Willem and Maxima.
But that doesn't help me. This is what I have done. I've opened the baldur.ini file, and added the line Debug Mode=1 underneath the Program Options. Then saved the file, start and come to the conclusion that there's a syntax error when I put in a code for a better weapon. |

press the CTRL and SPACE button, I type in say, for example ring35
and then this syntax error appears |
