I have a Kensai and my stronghold is de'Arnise Hold. My question is: what is the good of this place? There are no merchants, hardly any people, and everytime I've come back someone is bitching at me for something. Where are all of my "farmlands" the talk about and I would really love to have a store or something there, at least a guy who can ID my equiptment(I am lacking a mage).

Priest provides a decent store just like any other church or temple. as for the stronghold, i just like to have a place where i can sleep for free, keep party members in that you are not using, store items in, and of course you get 500 gold every once in awhile.

btw if you don't have a mage and need stuff IDed you should just pick up some glasses of identification. 3 uses per day has worked fine for me.
