Hmm.. I think there is a Druid Kit that lets you have an animal companion, and I think the Beast Master lets you have some also, but besides that, I don't think there are any other kits that let you have them.

If a figurine counts there is a spider one, the spider's name is Kitraxx. You get different types of spiders depending on the level of the person using the figurine. Otherwise you'll just have to settle for Boo. If you're set on a "companion" play as a mage, then you can have a familiar, and a few of those are animals. ex rabbit

I don't think a figurine would count as an animal companion, since they are bits of stone most of the time, and animals for about six minutes a day (the book of infinite spells lets a ranger summon a wyvern BTW).
The only way to get animal companions would be by playing a beast master or by CTRL-Qing an animal and keeping it in your party. ------------------ The last arrow of Legolas kindled in the air as it flew, and plunged burning into the heart of a great wolf-chieftain. charming all the animals you find is more fun Nothing like chaming rabbits, casting strength of one or other spells, then setting the rabbits on your enemies.
but yeah, a beastmaster can cast find familiar, thus having an animal companion. dulouz.. |

Thanks.
Are the familiars the same as the ones for a mage. If not than can somebody give me a list of them. |

Well, I'm not sure... I could possibly test it out though. I would think that instead of the mage familiars you'd get a variety of animals. EX rabbits, cats, wolves, bears, etc. But you may be right. You want me to check it out? I can make my way out of the first dungeon as a beast master and then just give myself a find familiar scroll with the shadow keeper. Of course you could do this yourself... Heh heh. I'm curious though, maybe I'll check it out this weekend.
