'Cheat' is such a strong word but its definitely 'exploiting an unintended loophole' and I would recommend not doing it. Why? Becuase it detracts from beating the game fairly and cheapens the role playing experience. For example, I created a great pile of money by just stealing goods then selling them back to the merchant. This is not even exploitation - its part of the game's design. Yet, it took away the challenge and the enjoyment of finding money or gems. So, I don't do it anymore.

Well i don´t think that using the games "bugs" for our advantage is cheating...

When I worked for a multiplayer online fantasy RPG company, that was our definition of it. If a player exploited a bug for their advantage, it was cheating, and they got locked out--or sometimes lost their account. Mind, you bought the game, you can't get locked out , but that doesn't change the definition of what it is.

So the 'human DM allowing' argument is something what never rocked my boat, I can't care less...

So ask yourself whether the programmers would have wanted it to work that way. I only said a human DM because thats effectively what the programmer is in this instance.
