Don't you have to kill the dragon, near the end, to get a golden cup? Well, I just got that cup off the silver dragon's body, in UnderDark.

If you have sky high Charisma you can persuade him to give it to you.

I was not asking how to get it. I was just saying I thought that the cup was on the last dragon, not where I found it (on the silver dragon).

You can use the Friends spell to raise your Charimasa, the items are nymphs cloak, blade of the roses the charisma ring and boots of the west. that should give you a cha of 23 dont know if its enough.

Thanks. Does anyone have any tips on how to beat the dragon by fighting. (I don't think I'll be able to get high enough charisma to charm it out the cup).

Ah the friends spell is cumalitive so its well do able anyway dragon whacking tips.
lots of summons Lower resistance by 3 breach slow offensive magic when it goes hostile attack with summons, use fighters to pepper it with arrows and so forth and when the summons are finished move in with melee fighters and finish it. If you want to cheese it cast cloudkill from out of range, great if you have a wand. ------------------
