Why is it that summoned monsters and skelotens can detect and attack invisable opponents? (actually i think it's quite nice) Is this just occuring with me?

Even though I use them ALL the time, I have to say I have never noticed. I wasnt aware that they could, but I dont meet that many invisible foes.

Thats because the monsters were targeted on the wizard.

Your characters can find where the mage will appear too, if they are targeted at him/her

After you go through the catacombs under candlekeep you fight, I think its 3 wizards or mages, anyhow my main characters where able to hit them when they disappeared. They had targeted them before they disappeared. So next time you find a wizard, mage, or anything that can vanish pause the game then attack that thing and your people will continue to attack after they vanish. If you attack anything else then your characters wont be able to find that monster/person till after it reappears.

It is a glitch in the programming that somehow allows summoned creatures to target invisible creatures. Since they initially go on AI they will attack any enemy that's within range of sight, regardless of whether they're invisible or not.

Actually if a mage dimension-doors like eg. Davaeorn your magic missiles will track and follow him. Well, MM's hit the spot I guess
