Which npc would you have taken from bg1? - Page 3

I finished the game with 2 different sets. #1 Kahlid, Jaheria, Imoen, Garrick, Brawen. I kept Garrick because of his lore level, it saved me a lot of money identifying items. #2 Kahlid, Imoen, Minsc, Dynaher, Kivan. I killed Jaheria early on, I got sick of "need's better leadership" crap. Left Brawen for the same reason. What is with the nagging whinning druids??? Kivan's skill with a bow was vwry help full for long range attacks and he could be helpful with a sword also. KIVAN is who I would have like to see in this new game.

Epona: LOL I like insane wizards!

I wouldn't trade Edwin for Xan unless you really need to because of alignment problems (Edwin=evil and Xan=neutral), because I really hated the fact that Xan can't cast Magic Missile (which is the only 1st level spell I use anyway)

In my current DSOTSC party which I started yesterday I have
Myself as a true neutral cleric
Jaheira
Xzar
Imoen dualled to Conjurer
Kagain
and Bub Snikt who probably has the most ridiculous name in the history of RPG. He's a fighter from the expansion pack but I cheated and gave him enough DEX to dual him to thief

My favorite was Coran, even though I don't have him currently in my party, he is probably the best archer in the game with 3 stars in Bow and dex 20.
I have
Tron(human fighter level 8)- 120 hitpoints
Minsc(level 8 ranger)
Shar-Teel (level 6 fighter/level 8 thief) wearing helm of oposite alignment
Bramwen - the only pure cleric in the game
Imoen (level 6 thief/level 8 conjurer)
Dynaheir
most of the fights are handled by the fighting trio, all wearing full plates
some fights are helped by Bramwen's animate dead and sometimes a couple of fireballs take care of the fight

"Wearing a helm of opposite alignment" hmmmmm, will opposite alignment things wreck the BG2 storyline? For example Minsc with a helmet of opposite alignment?
