When I played bgI I had each character have the proficiencies I wanted. Unfortunately, in BGII all of that was changed. What I want to know is it cheating for me to make the characters have different proficiencies other than what they started off with at the beginning of the game. Also, I am not going over the limits each class has, just moving the stars around to different choices.

It is cheating. Real RPG is living with your mistakes.

Gimlee, what mistakes are you talking about? The programmers of the game gave those profs to the characters, not me, they are far from perfect as well.

Don't ask other people if they think that you're cheating or not. First of all, you're ALWAYS going to get mixed responses. Second, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Just do what you have to to make the game enjoyable to you and you alone. If giving all your characters stats of 25 makes you happy, then by all means go ahead and do it.
