For those unfaniliar with Toril, Selune is the goddess of the moon. Her opposite (and some would say the same goddess but her other side) Shar is the goddess of the night. They are always at war with each other with Selune winning and rising into the night

lil = the
alurl = best

Lil alurl = The best

My interest for the gnomish and dwarvish tongues in BG2 being an offshoot of that for the drow vocabulary...for which there exist ample sources online.

Is he the one that wrote the hobbit? if so I almost read it but my library only had the kid friendly version thats like 3 feet wide and full of pictures and I was too embarassed to take it up to the librarian.
