help, paladin stronghold duties:taking care of the little brat

You know if you are a paladin and you save Garren's kid. And then you can be a Paladin Of the Order. Well anyways, the quest has been taking a very long time and the guy hasn't come, not even the evil guy, so i need help.
Any ideas how to fix it?

much of this is tied to dialogue, if she's gone upstairs and you're waiting downstairs, go up and talk to her, time only went forward in the quest for me after I talked to her

Hmm, my tip is to try to speak to her not rude, and just satisfy her. After a while, she will go up. When she comes back down, she will say that she saw someone with the windows. Again, try to answer her nice. Then a group of assassins will appear. Kill them, and avoid that Tyranna gets killed. Then she will come back down, for another dialogue. Again, talk to her nicely, and she will go back up. And THEN will the stepfather come, evil or not.

Whops, described the whole quest there, didnt I? Sorry.

After you have killed the assassin's, another encounter occurs. This is random, and it can either be the girl's real uncle or someone pretending to be her uncle. You need to figure out if he is who he claims to be ... and deal with him appropriately. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I killed the assasins and she will tell me to go downstairs to look for more. Then i wait for over 4 hours or so and nothing happens. So should i restart that quest or go talk to Reirrac?
