Sorry, I don't remember for sure, maybe try a domination spell on a mind flayer while wearing or having the circlet ? Or attacking it while having the circlet in your inventory ?

Hi All
 Put the circlet in the Quick Item and use it on the mindflayer. It will put them under your control them for a short time. But I ran out so so anyone know of another way of doing this?

In one of the East rooms (with a re-spawning Mindflayer), you could get liquids to use on the S-E machine for circlets to dominate the buggers. Failing that, try domination spells? Or use the cheat to Ctrl-J to the entrance?
