Alas no, I tried but not for too long. There's only so long I'm willing to dedicate to passing my mouse over small pieces of scenery to see if they will turn blue.

I've seen questions about the jounal and decided to use this post to clear up any questions and save some people a lot of wasted time. To save you all some trouble, unless your main character is a ranger, you WILL NOT find this stash ever. It's part of a quest after the ranger has accomplished their ranger hut. The stash is part of a quest for rangers as part of their guardianship of Umar.
