I have never kept the flamethrower but my question is: does it get better during the game for a gadgeteer? I am try a gadgie with a bishop turned ninja. It has been at level 1 firestorm for a few levels so maybe it doesn't improve. I thought I saw a thread a year or two ago that said it got really good later. Or maybe that was a joke? Original game.
