Btw, try some great fun - use editor to make a character with lvl 50 in EVERY profession! He has got about 7000 hp and is really almost immortal (killing Savant in one round bare-handed)!

Actually, i have had a great deal of lesser fun with an editor, like adding another Boomerang Shuriken, which actually was kinda worthless and led me to give a Ninja an endless supply of Death Stars and used them as her only weapon. Now That Was Fun.

I've got two versions of Wiz8 on my system, one is v1.0b, which is the AP fix and, of course, allows pickpocketing and v1.2.4. The first one I use for experimentation and the later version for serious playing.

I used an editor on v1.0b to give a party the best weapons for their class (Light Sword, Z-Bo, Fang, Vampire Chain etc). Snag was it got so boring in Trynton able to deal death so effectively, I gave up on the party.

So has anybody used an editor for anything else apart from giving parties uber weapons etc?

I've used Wizardry 8 editor to give characters loads of ammo, because with high level gadgeteer it ends so quickly...

I used the editor once and gave my party a few giant frog leggs (Crocks little quest) as I was feeling to lazy to hunt for exp I kept giving the legs to Crock and getting the exp, made a few levels that way.

i've used them to test a number of theories that i didn't want to waste a lot of playing over, mostly about Attribute and Skill development.

Ah, I also made a party that used only blunderbusses and muskets... good fun but they missed often. Then I changed their attributes and skills to 125 and they became better in sharpshooting then snipers. :-D
