Sorry I couldn't find a post for this. Does the weapon with a kill% take president over your own personal skill as in a ranger, ninja or others, or is it added to your own kill%, or does it check it twice?

I think it adds it to your own, not 100% sure about that, but that's my guess.

Your personal Critical Strike chance (1/25 of your Skill score) is added to any Weapon Kill %.

Are you sure about this? I mean, 1/25 of my skill score, that would mean if a character has maxed critical strike to 100, he would only have a 4 percent chance to get a critical hit??? I don't that pays off, does it?

Thinking of these rare, nice arrows with 20 percent critical...

Thanks for the info. That would give a ninja maxed our with the assassins cap 6% + marramusa blade 15%, 21% crit. I don't seem to get that many but that may be just the roll of the dice for me.

Ninjas can't use the muramasa blade (it's samurai only), I found that out the hard way. Doh!

If you want to see some frequent crits, you could try a speed/dex samurai dualing with the muramasa and a stiletto. My next party will feature a samurai like this. I think that this would be the greatest critical melee master one could make. Feel free to disagree, I'm simply unaware of any better one as I write this.

I do find my sam crits more than my ninja both using bushido and ench w. I mean o lot more. I'm thinking it may be the sam is much more balanced than the ninja. They are both within 5 points in dex, spd, sen. but the sam has 15 more points in pie and slightly better st. I know this has nothing to do with crits outside of raising the skill but with the same skill level both maxed so the ninja has 1% more to crit. the sam just seems to more often. It's just kind of strange. I've played other sams that were not quit as balanced and did not get as many crits.???

@Teddy; The Skill, Critical Strike, is not very good. The most you get is 6% with a Ninja who's maxxed the skill and has the bonus. Rangers with ranged crits get 6% when they max Ranged Combat (again, they get a bonus)
You get a 1% chance to instawhack when you get the skill, then 1% for every 25 points thereafter.
Really not much.

The chance is also affected by mob's resistances, and level. Some things can never be instakilled.
