Scatter, I am a guy.
Anyhow, thanks for all of the responses. If you continually use a certain weapon does your character get better at that weapon or is it a general thing? i.e. Samurai great using a marumasa or general sword Also, what is it about primary and secondary and their alternates? If I do not have arrows not loaded in the primary alternate the bow is useless? So, if I have a sword as my primary and my secondary, the alternate is pretty worthless.

A REALLY good fighter/lord/ranger/rogue/bard/gagiteer weapon early on is the diamond epee, found in the secret bank vault.

Damage wise its only average (3-12) but its got a VERY impressive +3 to hit +4 to inititive... can unlock that second strike much earlier with this weapon. Also a little later if you can get your hands on the diamond eyes in the mountain wilderness your lord becomes a very fast hitter. two high init weapons, one stuns with a dual weapons bonus for the lord class. He hits so many times a round it aint funny.

For Samurai there is the enchanted wakashai in the mountain wilderness, or the winterwand for higher inititive and +15% KO ability.

From antone in arnika he sells (randomly) the enchanted longsword, broadsword and katana. Useful for a variety of fighter types.

as far ask skills go, if u use a muramasa blade your sword skill goes up, as does your close combat and critical hit skill.
give him a second weapon and the dual wielding skill increases too.

And yes thats right about the alternate secondary.
you need ammunition man.

I allways have 2 close combat weapons, left and right and and a ranged weapon with ammo as backup.
its the only way really.

THe mountain wilderness is so special.
You get diamond eyes, mitre, a lyre, enchanted wakashi, staff of doom, and can buy cloak of many colours, a ranger bow, and hexing spear.
Definately a place to visit as early as possible

Although if you go below the min spawn level the random encounters can get bad.
