My most memorable combat was playing Wizardry8 for the first time, and being in the first retro dungeon on Arnika-Trynton Rd. I opened the door with the lone Morax, and my ranger instant killed it, on the second hit. Of course, I thought that they were weak, and was not prepared for the 2 of them that slaughtered me not five minutes later, behind another door. Now I still have a healthy respect for Moraxs.

Mine is on the bridge to the Mt Wilderness, where the Marble Golem is, I guess to "test" you before you can enter that area. Well both my Mage and my Alchemist had Summon Elemental, so I got the idea if I summoned an elemental it wouldn't be able to get to me since it's a bridge. I wasn't TOO worried about the fight since I was already high level, but I still knew that its punches could devastate.

Anyway, I had both of them summon an elemental at the max level they could...and to my surprise, the second one appeared BEHIND the golem! So for only ONE ROUND, I watched the first elemental pummel the golem from BEHIND, then the golem turned around to attack it and the OTHER one got hits from behind and killed it. It was hilarious!

Spoilers... I pity the fool, who reads this and gets spoiled
First most memorable fight... Nessie. I mean, i was told the the U.T.U mission would be difficult, but they never mentioned diddly squat about a giant sea monster in the way. Easy rescue mission my arse.

Oh, i never did beat nessie. Better part of valor you understand. With me being level 13 and all, i only did like 20 damage before my party was obliterated.

I just had one a couple nights ago. My 11-12 level party, based on the Stark children from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire went to see Don Barlone about a certain artifact. We start fighting, and no one is hitting the Don. Arya, the ninja, has ONE bag of skeleton powder. She tries it on the Don--it worked! After that we mopped up, got the artifact and a certain other one. As my party are all rawalf, befitting that they are based on the Starks, I sold the other artifact for mad money.

i would have to say all my most memorable combats would all be from the demo (i played it to death) one of them is how instead of gregor you face a swallor and when my party came to the bottom of the ramp up he was sitting at the top and combat starts and my rangers first shot instant hit so that was pretty mad and then all the other time in fights where i had not worked out what the geen and read and yellow and organe circles ment so i was casting high level fireballs in the red and wondering why the mage kept on back fireing. i was pretty glad i read the manual when i got the game and it tells your about green and red circles.

*SPOILER*
My most memorable experiences were:
When I fought the Dark Savant at the end, and my Gadgeteer instant killed it right after the battle began.
My second most was when I instant killed Bela, then killed Vi in two shots.
