I don't know if I am the only one who thinks this, but I am extremely fed up of the green dots which are friendly creatures who help you during battle.
As far as I am concerned, they hinder more than help, lengthening the battle by quite a bit sometimes and getting in the way of your characters (especially in Trynton).
I prefer to handle the battle entirely by myself without these idiot creatures (supposedly) helping out!
What do the rest of you think, Am I the only one who feels like this???

You could always attack them and turn them red

I did consider doing that but it would cause more problems than it solves, besides I quite like the Trynnie when they are not in my way!!!

Yeh, I avoid the local help unless I really need it. It does slow down the fights. They can be handy sometimes. My default is to try it alone, wait without saving until the green dots leave the area. Then, if the fight is really one-sided against you, reload and use their help!

True, they are a pain some of the time, but those friendly 'green dots' can save your butt when you're a low level character in Arnika. Maybe Wiz9 will give us the option to make them neutral for combat. Who knows?

Yeah, they are pissers, only cuz they make the battle so damn long. It only really helps in the beginning of the game when you are at low levels.

I also find the 'friendlies' a pain. The two areas I hate are the Trynton tree where you can't get to the monsters because the Trynnies are in the way and the Umpani base camp.

The base camp I really hate, when you get half a dozen plants and all those Umpani soldiers come to help. Those battles take ages.

if you have many allys fighting a few cretures, just put the battle on continuous and go do something else for a while.

Rez

I don't do continuous combat just in case my team kills some Umpani which would make them hostile.

I accidentally killed some of the guards in Arnika once, Sparkle left my party and the guards attacked me.

I could just defend all the time I suppose and read a book for 20 or so minutes but I don't think that's in the spirit of the game.
