I've got my party of 6 Hobbit (still can't figure out how they can use that name) Rogues running around doing their thing.
I've never had so many enemies running from my party than with these guys. Has anyone else experienced more of this with one party than another? [ 07-09-2003, 06:14 PM: Message edited by: Variol (Farseer) Elmwood ]

This is happening because all of your party members have stealth. Stealth makes it so that an enemy cannot see/target a character. So when monsters cannot see your party they will either defend or run away. The higher Stealth you have, the more likely this will happen.
I had a party were a class changed everyone to a Rogue for a level and raised their Stealth to 100, then class changed back on the next level. The same thing happened that you are describing. |

Cool!
I'm just trying out a party of Ninja now. What is the best way to keep them stocked up with thrown weapons? They seem to be hard to find.

Running more than a couple of throwing Ninjas is little more than an exercise in frustration; there just aren't enough good throwables to go around. Antone, Anna, and Kunar all make darts, but in fairly low quantities. It gets a lot better once you get the Boomerang Shuriken, but even that's only one hand of one Ninja. You might want to convert all but two of your throwing Ninjas into melee fighters instead; there are some pretty good Ninja-useable staff weapons that are always available. Or even make one or two of them magic specialists; the Alchemist book is probably the most "complete", in terms of having meaningful buffs, good healing, at least some protection, and attention-getting offensive spells that a hybrid caster can use for a good portion of the game.

next head on over to crocks and purchase stilletos for both hands for all your rouges - and have a "critical" parade of bloody chuncks surrounding your party rather quickly. with this you'll forget all about samurai and ninjas. of course the inventory thing is the same here as for thrown weapons.
24 hour rotation (8 hours per specific inventory yield) and save game before talking to seller to get the inventory your looking for. |
