I've been circling the entire map of Mt.Gigas looking for the LOUDSPEAKER & HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER. I need them to complete a WATCHDOG ALARM and ELECTROSHOCKER. Could anyone have any idea where these items in Mt.Gigas can be found?
It would be nice if someone can show me by sending me screenshot of the map with a marker indicating where the items are. But any help in finding these things are enough as long as they are accurate. Thank you so much.

They didn't make it into the final release of the game. Same goes for the item needed for psionic balst (demons doll ?).

Yeah, it's really annoying. I spent (wasted) far too much time looking for those items before learning they weren't in the game.
But anyway, WB is quite right, so just pick up and move on in the game. |

WHAT?!! Are you guys sure about this?
Let me get this clear... are you fellas telling me that some items are not in the game eventhough they publish it that it exist? If that is the case then someone please tell me and future victims of this major loophole WHAT ARE THE OTHER ITEMS THAT THE DEVELOPERS FORGOT TO MENTION THAT DOESN'T EXIST IN THIS GAME? I'm beginning to realize that the Gadgeteer now sucks because he has limited items that mostly don't exist.

Ressurrection powders are plenty, and many characters get the spell. Again, i'd not use the gadgeteer item if it would exist; the limited inventory space wouldn't allow it to keep it in personal inventory, and outside of combats, i can use the spell. Really missing is the Demon in a Box. IMO Psionic Blast is the best psionic-only spell in the game, and giving it to bard or gadgeteer greatly reduces the value of the psionic spellbook. Late in the game, the gadgeteer gets very powerful, even without these items. He is primary a rangestriker, and not a caster. |

As others have said, the gadgeteer is a little limited, especially at first. I build up engineering to the max anyway (he makes a decent but not great fighter with a good sword and shield, and the ranged omnigun does get handy later). He gets earthquake, tsunami, and heal all "spells" later. They can be useful. I consider him an "exotic", there for the fun and strangeness.

Yeah GG, we're sure. Just like some quests/adventures in the game that were never finished, there are some gadget items that don't exist - whatever you may have read in the strategy guide.
We're lucky the game made it to the shelves, as it is. Anyway, the gadgeteer does have some nice items to make regardless. One of these is the triple xbow. That's a really fierce weapon, though it goes thru ammunition like kids with Christmas candy. A gadgeteer can also make the slightly lesser double xbow. I sometimes picked up the Trynnie gadgeteer just for the xbow making. I suppose the gadget stuff was really put in mainly if you were lacking in spellpower. You'd at least have access to some spell-like effects regardless. |
