the Light sword or Light shield that one can find in a chest in bayjin or the bucaneer ghost in bayjin is pretty good too.

No, thats Bushido Blade.
The Marumasa Blade is often in the Queens chest (i think 50-70% chance).

Does Ferro really sell Golden Breastplate and inifinity helm. i mean i have become a templar, i rested 24 h and loaded sveral time, but the best item Ferro was selling was the Cloak of many colours. No breast plate and no helm. Do i have 2 do something special or to have a certain level in order that Ferro sells me these items??? I will make a topic to ask for the best items that Ferros sells. Anyway, where is Ebony Helm after all???

Have you got the latest patch installed? Until approx 3 weeks ago I was playing version 1.0 because I liked to pickpocket and knew the latest patch screwed this up. I had three parties reach Ferro and, like you, couldn't get anything decent like the Golden Breastplate, Infinuty Helm etc.

After complaining about this on the VN Board it was suggested I patch my game. I applied the latest patch and now regulalrly get the above items plus other goodies. I also had problems getting gadget parts like electrodes and duct tapes from Anna and other gadget parts from Crock. They now all appear quite frequently in their inventories. By the way, Crock has, so far for two different parties, had Caliban's Cuirass for my Bards quite frequently.

Mind you, if you have used the latest patch, I'm stumped!

In my experience, you'll have to be at high level to get The Mauler or the Mantis Boots. But for Robes of Rejuvination, Golden Breastplate and Infinity Helmet, i know level 11 is enough (probably there's no level restriction).

I have read that Ferro sometimes doesn't manage to put the finished custom pieces on display, when the shop inventory is full. To fix this problem, it is suggested that you buy all the cheap ammo, to make room, and then rest again 24 hours. Maybe this helps in your case?

The Ebony Helmet is IIRC just a helmet with 14 AC, and no special properties.
At least its nothing compared to Infinity Helmet.

Thanks all! Anyway let's say i don't have the original game (that doesn't mean i don't [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), but if i don't, and i patch the games, will i have to copy the crack over the game exe again???

I found the Avenger Sword, I believe I found it in the Bayjin area. Not positive, but its 2 handed, does 11-38 damage, and has a 10% instant kill. Nice sword.

Gotta have party average L15 to get the good stuff from Ferro.
Best Shield: Rainbow Shield--AC 6, +10 all resistances, cast Prismic Ray.

The best weapon I hd was the enchanted wakizashi for my sam in one of my games. It shows that I do not like to reload to get specific items from specific chests.

Best stuff I've seen:
sw: Excalibur, Muramasa Blade, Bushido blade can be had from Raven Rapax (along with ankh of dex), fang, ivory blade of course
pole: maenad's lance
bow: there's a really good one, I'm not sure if it's eagle eye like someone mentioned. also great bow (or strong bow?). elven bow from import is good too
armor: infinity helm, there's another +6 that gives +20 int, not sure if that's infinity, coif of divinemail, golden breastplates, mantis gloves, mantis boots
staff: zatoichi, mirror armor

anybody know what the complete bard outfit is?
helm: puck's cap ??? higardi bad guy drop
torso: caliban's cuirass buy from antone, or crock
lower: oberon's greaves buy for crock, or antone
feet: ariel's slippers, higardi bad guy drop
sholder: prospero's cape, higardi bad guy drop

I've never found any real good shields (thieve's buckler, lithe buckler, and dragon kit are all)

unfortunately I think I deleted my old games (been over a year now), so I can't check the stats.

I've gotten really good stuff knocking off rapax in castle and hoofing it on Arnika road late in the game (rattkin hoodlum drops).

There use to be a site with a complete list. I only mentioned stuff I've actually gotten.
