Once I've used up the five charges in the flamethrower, is there anyway to recharge it?

Haven't tried this myself, but apparently if you sell the item and then buy it back, it is bought with full amount of charges. So the idea is to sell it when only 1 charge is left (some items disappear once they reach 0 charges).
