Hello
I have a question about the relation between the exp which I get from a monster and its level . At the beginning I thought the higher the level the more exp I get but thats not true... You all know the fights with the savant orbs/drones/berserkers in several arenas. Of course, the orb is the easiest enemy and you get the fewest exp for killing it. But the Orb is lvl 17 and a drone only 12.. Or on asc. peak. i just killed a souleater lvl 28 and got 150.000 exp . then I killed a chaos demon lvl 32 and only got about 75.000 exp and thats okay cuz the souleater is really hard. Can someone explain me this strange fact ??? thanks Niob |

It`s like this i have made out of it that the harder the monster are to kill the more xp you got to kill it like the "SoulEater".

I would bet that the number and strength of resistances, the number and type of special attacks, and the level all affect the experience point count. The level probably determines a base amount, and the other factors stack experience incrementally.
You are right - not all level 20 creatures seem like level 20 opponents. Take for example the Don and a Brother Ray: both are indeed level 20, but my level 9 party could nickel and dime the don to death while the brother ray handed me my a** on a plate. But then again, the Don wasn't casting death cloud all the time. V
