Does anyone have this file they can send me. Can't find it anywhere to download it. All I can find is the newest patch and I don't want that one right now.

Thanks
Diane

When I try to download it, it does not download the complete file and Winzip tells me it's not complete and can't open it. That is why I was trying to find a copy of the file that had already been downloaded, hoping it would work.

Hmmm, I'll e-mail the guy who runs the site, those files were working pretty recently.

Edit: yeah, something strange about those files they all fail to come down. Sorry, don't know another site where the old patch files can be found, if I here anything from Spydah I'll let you know.

When I installed the patch all it did was mess up the in game text (especially on the character review pages, switching the denominators round so strength became base ac, intelligence became average ac (this happened to them on all pages) and all item descriptions it shifted around the headers (so cursed status: became cursed (unremovable): etc). I just uninstalled the game, reinstalled and kept on playing with my previous saves.

That will work just fine Balgin, as long as you don;t save while the mmok hologram is disapearing, and as long as you don;t want to go to Ascension Peak to finish the game. The patch is necessary I'm afraid.

Back to the original question, yes I have patch 1.00b - please confrm that you don't have it and still want it, cause it will take my poor modem about half an hour to upload the 3.whatever megs to sent mail (have already done this for someone else). I have to make a run out to work in the next 10 mins (sigh, and it's even a public holiday), but I will check in again this afternoon and send it then if your still chasing it.

You must install the game from scratch. If you reinstall in the old folder be sure to delete the patches/patch.001 file.

BTW, I am assuming you want this patch so you can use the editor, eh?

Nope, don't do the editor thing, never have. Don't really like patches either, just wanted a patch that would correct the AP problem and the Mook hologram thing and nothing else.

Thanks guys for the replys.

Thanks also to Skywalker for the patch.
