1. I keep seeing the acronym LOL. What does it mean?

2. I found a book of Light in the Lower Monastery. I have a Mage & a Priest. How do I put it in their spellbook?

3. I read all the hints. In a lot of them they refer to "reloading" before going into a new area. I don't understand what they are referring to and why it is important.

Thanks in advance for any help!

1. LOL = Laughing out loud

2. Go into your inventory, click on USE, then click on the spell book.

3. Not sure, perhaps they meant saving the game before going into a new area?? Perhaps if you can link me to a particular post I could tell what they were talking about.

1) Laugh Out Loud

2) in your inventory, in the lower left is a hand icon, holding a ball. that's the "USE" icon. r/click it and it will turn into a special cursor. click the cursor on the book. if you can learn that spell, you will. (make sure it is in the mage's inventory when you do it... cause you want to give it to her)

3)reloading. well, first your in an area and you save your game. something bad happens, like a teammate dies, you stop and go back into your game options and load the earlier save, from before the death occurred.
its a good idea to save often and in several slots, so that if anything awful happens, you can choose how far back to go to correct it.

hope that helps.

ADDITION:

if you reload an area at the zone (where you get a special window that says "do you want to enter the upper monastery?") then you make everything that lives there RESPAWN. it lets you kill more things for points OR if you have changed your game difficulty, it changes the levels of the creatures to reflect your new difficulty level.

3) In addition, AFIK, it's important to save before entering the area first time, esp. if you guess there might be something nice and special in chests. It's generally known the contents of chests (majority if not all) is spawned randomly at first entering the area. Altogether there are some items supposed to be only in one place (the Light sword comes to mind), so, if it's not here, you wont find ot anywhere else. If you have the save you can always try once more.
