What is the nastyest monster?

What is the worst monster you have meet in the game?

I have meeting som WERY nasty one`s in Ascension Peac "Bitterwings" they are at level 28 and spitt poisen on you that do 30 points in damage pr round and they are 100% imune to all magic and my "Missile Shield" dont help it`s like i dont have one!;-(
And they alvais come in party of 7-9 so my priest must cast "Restoration" spell all the time i am at level 23 but when you kill 6 you got 269876 points so i shall kill all of them in this place huuuuu.. if i can!!
But it have been cool to meet an "Godzylli" here to but they are only available in the "Greather Wilds" on Guardia to bad..is there ONLY Nessie that are the Unique monster in this game??? or are the more?

I also miss the "Gorror" mosters they was an real test of your skills! But i shall trie out Wizardry Gold one more time now and inport my party to Wiz 8!

Yes, LOL Bitterwings are some nasty monsters!
I avoided them as often as I could!
KHaN says that Element Shield works against their poison attacks.

Thanks Moni i have never think that that poisen spitting was an spell but i shall trie out the Element Shield and se if that helps because i am only entred the Ascension Peack and i have meet horders of this nasty "Bitterwings";-(

hm...well Bitterwings are nothing ...i played a 3-man-team (fighter/gadgeteer/bishop) and therefore i was about 30 when i reached AP ...then the bitterwings are easy, just anoying, but i met a ?Scorcher? (couldnt identify him, although myth 100, or it has no other name ...anyway). This baddy was lvl 40 ...in melee he scrached my ac 35 fighter 4 times with about 30-50 damage p hit..thats not really a problem ... but he drained him 103 HP *ops* ...didnt realized it during combat ...but wonderd why he had so low hp after resting *G*.

And with about lvl 33 i allways run into that Wood Elders (correct?), they were lvl 36 or 38, cant remember, but had 650 HP and were imune to all magic, and thats not all: they allways cast Body of Stone on themself (ARGH

... and after that evry turn there comes Quicksand/Earthquake aso ... funny ...and challenging if You are not prepared

PS: are there any higher monsters then this lvl 40 scorcher? ...didnt play any further since it became boring ..although its easy lvling with a 3-man-team...

Ok, good a thread that my stupid question will fit nicely into.

For those of you that have gone through ascension peak, I ran into a creature in one of the open areas. It was HUGE!!!!!, it had about 1500hps, I can't even remember much about it, but he was a toughy.

I was making a mad dash through the peak trying to reach cosmic circle before I went to bed that night, ROFL, after 5am rolled around and I wasn't all the way through, I just decided to get some sleep and finish the next day. Ascension Peak is larger than ya think once you go in.

Anyway, if anyone has run into this critter and has some info let me know, I have a ton of save games, maybe I will go back through them and see if I can find the one before I hit this beast and add another post.

I found him, he is identified as Furor, he is a giant scorcher and when I checked him he had 1391hp, breaths fire, with KO ability.

For those of you that have made it that far, I am sure you remember him, for those of you who haven't hit him yet, enjoy [img]smile.gif[/img]

I really like Pee-wee, I just wish you could get him to tag along with you through the peak. I spent alot of time trying to get things to chase me far enough for them to feel the wrath of pee-wee [img]smile.gif[/img]

I take it you must have paid the little extorsionist? I hacked pee-wee to pieces and was a little dissapointed with him.

Never ran into that scorcher, so I don't know if he's harder, but the fight I couldn't stand was the greater Deamon and 3 Djinns of the Clouds. At least one of them casts a lvl 6 Death Cloud every single round, and my Bishop was too fast so her purify air usualy occurred before they cast so I had no choice but to get hit by it. That was the only fight in the game that I let one of my characters die and said ok, I'll just ressurrect.

The next closest was the fight with the Rapax Prince, it wasn't so much that any single opponent was hard, but having to fight him, Al-Nydlari (And by the way, who gave them permision to use my name?), 3 groups of Templar Knights totaling 18, 2 groups of archers totaling 12, and a group of 5 rapax Templars, along with repeated Templar spawns by Al-N, and a couple of Greater elemental spawns, this was a loonnnnggggg fight. I had to take a break in the middle of it to eat. Thank goodness for magic nectar and the restfull spell.

Al-Nydlari would have been your offspring from having done the dirty with Al-Sedexus. It tripped me out seeing Al-Yashi in my first game LOL...I think this time, I am going to create an Al-MONGO. [img]graemlins/biglaugh.gif[/img]
