i suspect game is heavily affected by save/load actions, and if they implied pickpocketing relation, why not do the same with other activities?
you guys better do not reload areas, but work it through with 'full online' (fighting, exploring, resting) - NOT loading;
i would appreciate replies from ones who are sure of opposite;

If I understood you correctly, I need to tell you that when I went back to the monestary for the wheel key, I forgot to go down to the beach where we started and hunt for venom crabs...later on I went there and reloaded just the lower monestary area until there were venom crabs on the beach...it took ten tries...reloading the Trynton Upper Branches area has been absolutely fruitless in my quest for Spider Silk so I gave it up...sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't.
I don't normally reload unless someone gets killed unnecessarily or, as in the case of my first trip into the cemetery dungeon in this game, when low-level monsters were there and running away from us! A simple reload before I stepped into the teleporter resulted in scorchers and the like...things that would take us on thinking they had a chance...had I not reloaded, I would have been chasing Apuses and Rats LOL...not much fun.

Something screwed up with my game now, I think.
I took an evening trying to get me the damn NoDachi from Antone and he just wont have it on stock, this horned Bastard cheats on me and keeps smiling coz he knows exactly what I want from him.
I had to turn the volume down.
I have heared that "Ah you´ve returned" way to often, and if I hear it once more I go mad.
One question, is Antone needed in later stages of the game or can I kill him ?
I really hate this dude.
Actaually its two questions.
Why the Hell is Ann Lam (the female merchant near docks) agroing me ?
She was my favorite spellbookdealer.
I did not steal from her or anything else, just came back after some adventuring and she appears as red dot on my minimap.
When i get close to her Higardi Patrols pop out of nowhere and attack me.

Im getting sick of Arnika !

C ya at the Trinnies for a fizzfazzfuzzer, at least they give me what i want, exept of course that much needed Reneval potion to cure the drained Hitpoints from my warriors.
Never saw one of those since my folks got drained.
This game is about to make it personal.

Weird - because I have come across SEVERAL NoDachi - and even some magic ones. Not off of merchants either, usually just wandering around. I am keeping them, because I want to beat the game with my current party configuration, then restore back to a point (currently have 31 pages of saves), and change classes for my current party and see how they do.

As for Antone and the, "You've returned" - come on, that's just too cool with how he sounds! [img]smile.gif[/img]

And as for Ann Lam and the Higardi Patrols - check your faction with them, and see how it is. Make sure it's not hostile.

I am joining the ranks of the spider silk challenged. My party is close to level 21 and I have just plain given up on finding spider silk. I have found all the items required for every custom item in the game with the exception of spider silk. I am hoping that when I get around to finishing the mapping of the Mt. Gigas unexplored area I might locate some but until then my Faerie will have to be the only person in the group with out a costume change other than a hat and some shoes.

Only Giant Spiders drop silk. Not Vile or any other kind.

Found Silks on :

Wolfspiders in Mt Gigas
Widowmakers in Trynton (they seem to drop em everytime)
and on some other 8legs (forgot the name) in the northern Wilderness.

Well I just got through kill Don... so now I am gonna walk around and see if I can talk some spiders into handing over some silk before I beat them to death. [img]smile.gif[/img]

in my other party, i step out the door of the monastery, and every single venom crab i fight drops a shell. there's little white dots ALL over the map. (16, count 'em, 16!)

get to trynton..... and guess what? spiders that prolly shouldn't even have silk are dropping them! AND every one of those tall tree guys throw spirit staves at me as they die! [img]graemlins/skull6.gif[/img] well, except the one that bobo skewered! [img]graemlins/dontknowaboutyou.gif[/img]
