No! Jaheira Come Back!

I recently finished the harper quest etc. and then after that bird busted out with the knife and killed that Xzar guy a harper lady, forgot the name, came to Jaheira and was like "I need you, lets go blah blah blah" Jaheira left, and it's become a quest in my journal. This has never happened before, it says she comes back, how, when, where... help please [img]smile.gif[/img] she is my only healer! Anomen's lesser heals are crap.

I disagree with Aelia, i think that she comes back after 24 hours, with a quest for you to do Which she tells you as soon as she comes back Note that this will not end romances, as it is a game induced leave, And, I think part of the Jaheira Romance.

Aelia is right, it takes only 1 sleep cycle (8 hours) to get Jaheira back. 24 hours was needed after you cured her from the curse. In this particular case however, rest for 8 hours or just travel to some outdoors area (if you're in the city) or back to city (if you're in outdoors area) and she will be back with you.

PS: all this colorful text is pain in the place where back-ends-and-legs-start to read, the 'common' color will do just fine..

I tis indeed part of the Jahiera Romance. She will lure you back to the Harper Hall. Be ready for a fight. BTW, will somebody tell me what the heck it means when she says"I must be conscious?" I mean, did she think we were going to knock her out???Reason #445 why Jah is a pain. Why doesn't she warn us that something is up?

Well, Jaheira is probably just a blue eyed blonde and that's why she didn't warn "us". She didn't know that there was anything to warn from. Despite the fact that she didn't personally like that dude, she's pretty "lawful", meaning that she doesn't break the rules unless these are wrong, in her opinion.

As for romances, then I went with Jaheira last time. Wanted to take it all the way to end, and since I knew that it was long, I was deliberately wasting my time on any occasion. And so it came to pass that the romance was finally finished in Chapter 2 Boy what a long chapter that was, longest I ever had.

Right now I am playing with my paladin, taking him through BG1 and then to BG2. Maybe I will this time try to go with Viconia, i.e. turn her to the good way and all such mushy stuff, what we do-gooders paladins do

Now I know also why I aint such a big fan of paladins and rangers and such - my fighter is so much better fighter. Really disheartening to see someone stand in FRONT of you, then you swing at it 4 times with BIG 2H sword and miss. Bleh...

Of course Fighters are supposed to better fighters... if they were not, nobody would ever choose a Fighter ever... ...

The advantages of Paladins is that they can cast Clerical spells, have special abilities, better saving throws, etc... but the comment that they miss 4 times is hugely misleading. They have at most, 1-2 THACO worse off than Fighters.

And it's not wrong that the paladin can hit 4 times in a row. Of course it depends on the enemy they are fighting, it's level and all such.. Right now this paladin I have is in BG1, I just did finish the Durlag's Tower (have the rest of the world done, save big city itself). There were quite few fights (I soloed through the whole place mainly with main char) where he goes face to face with something, and then it's like: Critical Miss, Critical Miss, Miss, Miss, "whack!" hit for 28. Pesky

Oh well, I suppose today or tomorrow I will import him to BG2, will have to sit and consider what kit to take. I do like kits more, they offer more choices. Heck I don't even know why would anyone want to start in BG2 the usual plain class (unless he/she is a fan of such), when it doesn't seem to give any bonuses as kits do. Then again, it doesn't give the penalties either as kits do..

Well some of us actually try to "play" a role and not just create insane tanks [img]smile.gif[/img]

I picked a Kensai because the idea of a sword saint with no armor is vert neat IMHO.. had nothing to do with how strong he may get. Paladins have a very strong opinion that some people enjoy. Rangers also have their own merits as well and I can see the alure.

Level for level, Paladins have the same base THACO as Fighters. So you got an unlucky dice roll, yeesh... ...
