Does increasing monks with dual weapon give them any bonuses with unarmed attacks?

not that i have noticed.

besides, it's my understanding that dual weapons is more for developing the dexterity to use both weapons equally well.

also, if you watch your stats (my monk does not carry any weapon ever. unless i can find the odd shuriken now and again) the better she gets, with her additional attacks and swings, her "dual weapon" category does not ever change. so that leads me to think they are in no way interconnected.

put your points in something more important, like Critical Strikes.

I suspect Vesselle is right, but if you equip throwing weapons in both hands then it probably does matter. However, it's not something I would put points into. Just equip lots of pointy things and let it raise on it's own.

No. Fighting bare handed is a martial art. Yes, you get two attack platforms (hand and feet), but dual weapons is hand + hand. Not hand + feet.

Besides, Vesselle is right. Well, Vesselle is always right about every thing I've ever seen her post. I only mean this complentary as I've bumped into her on a number of boards and she's always got the right answer, because she's got a brain AND uses it.
