I noticed that most of the monsters are short of gold. Most of the gold I earned was either from chests or selling items. It almost doesn't make sense to fight the seekers, the robots, etc. near Arnkia.
Does this situation get better or should I ocunt on most of the gold coming from selling items?

Most of your gold wll come from selling tems. I think the most I have ever seen a monster drop is 200 gold pieces and that was not common for what I killed.

I mostly get all my gold from my alchemist. He mixes batches of potions and I sell them, some up to 5000 each. If you have a high level alchemist, gold will no longer be a problem.

I currently have about 200,000 gold and can't seem to find much use for it. FYI, my party averages about level 12.

What do you need gold for? Anything you want can be shoplifted or pickpocketed. That is, if you have no moral qualms about that sort of thing... You don't even have to put points in it. I brought Myles' pickpocket skill from like 25 to around 80 in about an hour and a half (with saves and reloads). The higher up you are, the easier it gets, (less reloads). Save after every 3 successful steals or so.

Now not that I encourage this (okay, I have a blast doing it!!!), pickpocket every NPC you come across. Save first. Pick pocket three times. Then save again.

I found that you can get some nice items, some gold, and some average items, which you can turn around and sell, then pickpocket back again, and just have fun doing that!
