After playing Baldur's Gate, Sword Coast, and part of BG2 I noticed that my experience points stopped at the 15th level mage (dual 7th level fighter, I think w/o checking) at 2 million or so exp. points. Why would I stop getting experience even though I am still killing enemies or accomplishing quests? Would it be because I have only a 17 in intelligence or is my game or computer messed up????????????????

without cheat codes the game has an experience cap. so you actually stop gaining exp. and no more levels.

You cannot eran mor than 2950000 xp in BG2. If you have a dual class char, the sum of the xp of both classes cannot exceed this cap. You can either install a xp cap remover or install ToB, which raises this cap to 8 mio xp.
