This game seems like it will be everything I was expecting and more! I took a look at all of the info at Sir-Tech's official site and I like all of the changes they're making such as picking your class right from the start, even a ninja, the improvement of the fighters power and of course, I can't wait for the Gadgeteer! That one is gonna be fun! What is everyone most looking forward to in this game? It seems there is going to be a lot if I'm right!

I am looking foward to wiz 8 also. I think a lot of people are. I really cant figure out why it would take years for this game to be developed, I hope that is not a bad thing. ) I have heard a couple different release dates, some say july 19th *keep your fingers crossed*, and some are saying November 1st. *eek*. Who really knows, sir-tech does not update their web site what so ever, so how is anyone supposed to really know anything?!?

It isn't the development, it's the publishing. Wiz 8's been ready to go for some time. They're having a devil of a time trying to find a publisher. Sir-Tech used to self-publish its games, but their publishing department went belly-up in October 1998, leaving only the development offices (Canada and Australia) working.
So as soon as they find a publisher, it's going to be out the door. On a different note: Sad news, but I found out that Morrowind's release has been delayed until the Summer of '02! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Sazerac |
