I am currently facing a problem, it seems I am not able to create a spell that opens doors with the property locked, open by spell. I used all the options, "OPENDOOR", "UNLOCKMAGICDOOR", etc..all of them, and when I cast the spell the door refuses to unlock. Is there anyway you can help me solve the problem, the development of my game halted because of it?

This probably isn't satisfactory, but you can give the appearance of a locked door by using a stair/teleport/transfer event. Have the event occur when party attempts to enter the square on the other side of a door (the door itself is actually "open". You could have a question event that says "what do you do?" and one option might be "cast knock" or similar. If that is selected, I guess it is a matter of using logic block events to see if a character has the spell memorised, and to take it away from them. You'd also add a "quest" along the lines of "locked door opened" so that you could tell the door event not to happen again once the spell is cast (so as to not annoy players coming and going through the door).

Ohh dear, you are right that is unsatisfactory. From what you are telling me, the spell Knock is nothing more then authentic look designed for a sole event reasons and if I am to have many doors that require the spell. I have to have multiple events...no, no, I think this is not a good way to do things at all.
But thanks for the help though

I don't think that option is fully working yet. Since it is related to magic, I'll either fix what is there or add what is needed for the next release.

This should now be working in the current release.
