I play an evil character and Viconia is (I guess) the assigned romance since she wont stop talking. I wonder if that is it (talk) or if there are quests or subplots to it (In SoA I mean).

Aerie's romance ends after sleeping with her and so does Jaheira's, so the converstaions drop off, but both continue in TOB.

When it happens is random based on how nice you are to her.
The nicer you are to her the faster the LOVETALK variable goes up. When it hits 49 she wants to sleep with you. The same is true with the other NPC's but I think she is a little faster. You can check your romance with shadowkeeper under global options and the LOVETALK variable values or located under the affects tab of each character

If you don't sleep with her, assuming you were nice about it, the romance doesn't end. If you do sleep with her then she hits you with a choice later on that ties into ToB.

I find it hard to stay out of a commited relationship with her without being ugly early on. She has very few neutral dialog choices and I'm determined to start a ToB game with a Jaheira romance to see what happens.

Hello, I'm new to this board and 4em, but Aerie seems like the biggest Ho a decent adventure can meet. It took me weeks to pillow talk Viconia into a bedroll. Yet show Aerie a lil understandin and she wants to get intimate.
And beyond that Vicky, IMHO is the most interesting romance.

For Jaheira. If you do the Harper quests and oome across Terminsel for the last time, you not only get the Harper pin but your PC also gets a large amount of exp.
For Viconia. You get attacked by a, iirc, handmaiden of Lloth and a demon.
For Aerie. Iirc, no quests are involved in this one.
For Anomen. His murdered sister quest.
