As I know 20.000 gp is enough to finish Chapter 2 but is it a advantage to advance Chapter 2 after completing all quests in all towns? I mean u got 20.000 gp and you finshed Slums but you had never been to docks, graveyard, government and bridge. To advance Chapter 3 or to walk all these towns and then finish chapter?

You can safely advance to Chapter 3. During this chapter, you'll still be able to go to the same places as in no. 2. After that it will be a while before you come back to Athkatla, so it would be best to do the quests during chapter 2 and/or 3 to gain some experience for the tougher chapters.

It depends on what you feel like. I myself like advancing the storyline quickly so I dont distract myself with side quests.

Hm... Azurewolf: that spoils the entire game... Not doing all of the quests :|:|

In the foul darkness one figure will emerge to save the world from evil and despair.... Light flashes as his sword comes down, and thunder rolls through the sky when he points his sword up to heaven to signal his victory....People whisper his name as he walks by, evil tries to hide as they sense his presence nearby.... His name? Link......

Wouldn't say it SPOILS the game to not do all the quests. I only did about half of them the first time around, so now I'm having fun trying to find and do all the quests I missed.

What *is* a problem is defeating the final baddies and finishing the final chapters if you're low on XP and levels. A party with an average of level 13 will run into some difficulties in the final chapter. In my party's case, it was a LOT of difficulties, which led to a lot of me swearing at my computer and reloading the game.

It depends on how you play the game. I think side quests can take the fun out of the game at least the first time round as they are not involved in the plot. Plus as I like things more challanging the first time I went up against Irenicus with a L11 party. Needless to say my party got wiped out pretty fast leaving me with my weak little elven sorceror who had run out of spells. So I had only one option SLAYER
Plus leaving side quests means it is great for replayability the next few times you play

I waited to take on most of these quests because if you take Imoen back into your group when you free her, she doesn't have all that much XP. Almost an advantage to do the quests after.
